Game changer
This device was easy to install and it's a game changer for my dad. Dad had surgery and was laid up in hospital for 1.5 months developing muscle atrophy and can't get around. This is allowing him to work on his upper body strength. Was a bit worried because it does give a little bit but it appears to be very stable regardless.

Mfg. Rated for 250 lbs, not 450 lbs. as advertised
Irrespective of the misleading weight capacity advertised, this item mounts perfectly to a hospital bed we had leftover from caring for a loved one. I am a 75 year old female and did it myself in less than 30 minutes. It is a game changer for my husband who sustained a spinal compression fracture and was unable to use our bed - resorting to sporadic naps in a recliner. This device now enables quality sleep for a nap or the entire night as he is able to get in and out of bed by himself. Excellent product, thank you.

Helps move around in bed
The trapeze was too low, it hung down in my face. I had to use a carabiner to shorten it 3 links. It is too bad they didn't use a carabiner at the top instead of a closed S hook for easy adjustment. Other than that, I'm glad I got it.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped
I was glad that I read in one review before I purchased that it didn't include the trapeze like it is pictured. We already had the Trapeze and were able to just install it into the stand. It isn't safe for a large person to pull up on without it tipping. The way we solved this problem is I purchased tie downs with webbing straps and fastened them onto the stand and around the legs of the frame of your bed. Then we winched them up tight so the stand didn't move when a 6 Ft man that weights 220 lbs. pulled up on it. My husband uses a Sleep Number Steel Metal Bed frame so we fastened the stand to the opposite side of the beds legs than he gets in on. That way when he pulls on it it doesn't come up off the floor and tip over. Then once he is in the bed the trapeze is hanging over the bed so he can use it to move himself around in the bed. His left side is paralyzed so he has no use of it. That is why he uses a Trapeze.

Sturdy/functional
I’m bedridden and this device helps me move my upper body. It is functional, and well made. I can only make minimal movements,which's.. is just what I needed

This product is great. Helps you get out of and into bed when you need support. Currently being used by a Parkinson’s patient supportive of him remaining somewhat self sufficient and in control. But here is the tip. If the head support of the bed is not super sturdy, do not clamp this trapeze to it but instead go with the supportive stand that is sold separate. Perfect combination!
