Good supplement strength and reasonable size of capsules
The product itself is excellent in my opinion because it doesn’t give me acid reflux like some other brands have done. It seems to assimilate well because I get same day relief of foot cramps, and muscle twitches, which for me, I signs that my minerals are getting low because of certain medication I take. Potassium and magnesium of what you call “helper “ supplements, in that they are known to work better when you have both in your system.(nature does not make nutrients by themselves after all so this makes sense.) If you want to do some homework, you can Google that as well: magnesium and potassium and calcium as helper minerals to each other. Plenty to read!😃🧐🤓 but then again I love to learn new stuff so I enjoy going down those rabbit holes and finding out interesting things😉. I also take mineral supplements for bone health. My doctor recently told me there’s over a 73 minerals that make up our bones… so that’s something to consider when you pick out the supplements you want. The capsules are what I would call medium sized, so not as hard to swallow. *** The picture shows one capsule next to a standard vitamin A gel capsule. For the perspective. I also prefer capsules because I trust them to dissolve more easily than a hard pill would do. (if you’re curious, there are videos on YouTube the show people trying to dissolve different kinds ofvitamins to see if your stomach could possibly be digesting it well , or not.) I have had good success using this , to balance the minerals lost by having to take steroids for asthma so much of the time. These are stronger than the 99 mg uncoated tablets my doctor tends to prescribe. And I am pretty sure that’s the usual amount that is available over-the-counter as well at places like GNC or Walmart. I like that it’s easier to get my potassium up to the new recommended levels , which are over 2000 mg a day (!!!) according to some doctors. You can easily check that on Google or YouTube if you look for “new guidelines for potassium “ I only did a return this time because of the package being damaged and some of the contents. I will definitely be keeping it as my standby when I need to up my minerals. Yes I do mean above and beyond what my multivitamin gives me. Everybody’s different about what is “optimal “ for their own personal chemistry. And although it’s not exactly a product review, it’s possible to get professional guidance on what your optimal levels are if you look for integrative MD’s or holistic MD’s or even Naturopathic MDS.(they all have seven years of med school.) Do be cautious about random stuff on the Internet though… things can a sudden Health fad, and then people say things that’s just off the wall completely. It took a few tries before I found a supplement that agreed with me and produced the relief I was hoping for. And also did not require me to take 40 pills a day if I wanted to hit the upper limit of the new guidelines which is 4000 mg. 😱😮 I also liked that this does not have artificial colors and fillers added to it , that are supplying us with additional chemicals that might not be beneficial. Can’t say I’ve ever been diagnosed with a deficiency of food coloring, for example! lol Something else to consider when you’re deciding where to put down your dollars for a quality supplement.
