Diameter a few hundreths smaller than it should be
Both nipples are a bit smaller than they should be (2 to 3 1/100's too small). This won't matter for most things, but for a vacuum line it isn't good. If I twist the fitting while under vacuum it immediately leaks. Yes, even with hose clamps. Using steel re-enforced PVC tubing.

NOT 3/16" barb on the 3/16" side
Ordered this to neck down a 1/4" fuel line to a 3/16" fuel line. Despite what they printed on the bag that it came in, the 3/16" fit super loose in the 3/16" fuel line that I ordered, which I can confirm is 3/16". Believe it or not, this kind of a part is pretty hard to find at your average Napa/Autozone (and have it not be plastic so it can have gasoline in it) so it's pretty disappointing that the dimensions on this thing aren't as advertised

Predator motors like the 212 require these .
If you mess around with Harbor Freight gasoline motors sooner or later you're going to need these because the fuel tank requires a 14" ID fuel hose , while the carburetor end requires a damn 3/16" ID hose . Just buy several of these . You will be glad you did . So much easier than trying to Mickey Mouse your two different fuel line sizes together .

Should have read the other reviews.
The actual diameter is too small and the material is more tinny than expected.Lowes didn't have the size I needed at the time but I should have bought through them. This one is junk. I'm only using it for a low pressure air hose and have already added a clamp and still need to use silicon tape to keep it from hissing. If it wasn't time sensitive I would have returned it and ordered elsewhere. I've spent double the money and time attempting to make it "work"

Poorly Made. Non-functional.
The 1/2" hose barb on the adapter I purchased is way to small. It was completely loose inside 1/2" ID tubing. Essentially useless.

Worked to adapt my kegerator
Threw a couple of 3/8 clamps on this and was able to convert one kegerator tap from home brew to handle my wife's favorite micro-brewery 1/6 bbl keg.

Works great
Used this to attach a fountain to a pump. Works great.

Smaller size then stated
Hose barb was smaller then advertised. Could not get a leak tight seal with 3/8 inch tubing.
