The Curtiss P-40E was an American WWII fighter, single-engine, single-seat low-wing aircraft with classic two-wheeled retractable landing gear. The P-40E version of this fighter was armed with six 12. 7mm (multi-caliber) Browning M2 machine guns and a 227 kg bomb or an additional fuel tank in its place. It was the first American combat aircraft that took part directly in World War II in the colors of British aviation as "Tomahawk I". In operations over the Western Desert, the P-40 was used as a fighter-bomber aircraft, used in assault operations. A total of 13, 740 P-40 units of all versions were built. With the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk set you will build a block model of this aircraft in 1: 35 scale. The model has a movable, retractable chassis and a rotating propeller. In the opening cabin you can put a figure of a pilot with a mapped look of a uniform. The model is complemented by high-quality prints reflecting the original painting of the aircraft from World War II.
