Nice paper
To be fair I haven’t used this yet but it looks very nice, and I’m happy with the paper quality, it’s thick enough and smooth enough for me to be happy to use my expensive markers on. It looks nice and the size is perfect for me too. I know my paper I’ve brought enough LOL, so I’ve no doubts I’ll be buying another of these once I fill it up.

Great quality
Hubby wanted a smallish sketch pad to rekindle his teenage hobby of pencil drawing. Haven’t heard any complaints so it must fit the bill.

This pad would be perfect for paint markers but not much else.
I bought this pad as it was advertised as a Bristol board pad which I need. Now, it's super smooth paper, no tooth at all but also no ability to absorb anything. I used alcohol marker and mech pencil to do this test piece. The liner went on fine although it took time to dry, not a problem tho, the pencil stained the paper if I wasn't super light but again, not a huge problem. A weird effect was when erased, it added a strange shine to the paper but I was able to remove that with a course eraser. So, this pad is not suitable for alcohol marker, I'd left the dark parts over night before adding the light sections and I was still able to accidently move the darker colours around so I'd keep that in mind when using it.These are advertised as multi media but I would not use marker on it. I'd guess it would be best for paint or paint markers do I'm going to allocate it to Posca work. The cover has the most lovely texture and I'm saddened I can't use this as my general use pad, I may buy one of their other ones and see how that goes. This pad would be perfect for paint or paint pens but nothing else.

Excellent Paper
Bought to use with Posca Paint pens. Paper is good quality, thick with a bright white colour that shows off the paint well. Has a tight surface that does not absorb too much paint.

For Posca pens ONLY...
It is a sturdy sketchbook with heavyweight bright white paper. It works quite well with posca markers: I haven't noticed any peeling of the paper (which often happens with Posca). So if you only want to use this sketchbook for posca art, then it looks like a very good option. However, if, like me, you want to use different types of media in addition to Posca pens, this isn't adapted. Indeed the paper has a coating of some sort to make it resistant to posca pens, but as a side effect, the other media do not work well on it.- For graphite, it does not blend nicely after application and the pencil marks remain completely visible.- Ink doesn't dry well at all: it was still smudging after having been left to dry overnight.- For alcohol-based markers, the application of a single colour works well although it is easy to have streaks visible after application. The problem is that different colours do not blend nicely at all and remain very much separated as 2 distinct layers, so it isn't possible to get a nice smooth gradient between two or more colours, which defeats the purpose of markers...The pictures shows the smudging of ink (from a fineliner) by passing a finger on it or applying a marker (after having left the ink to dry overnight) and the non-blenbding of graphite pencil marks using a stump as well as the non-blending of different marker colours. I have also added the gradiant obtained using the same technique on marker paper for direct comparison.I was looking for an all-rounder sketchbook, that can be used with a variety of media. in the end, it is only useful for Posca pens, So if you plan to do art only with posca, then that's a great choice; if not, then look elsewhere!
