Poor workmanship and design
The material is aluminium. However the workmanship is poor.The gap between the wheel and the frame is not uniform resulting in the wheel not turning when under load.The wheel turns freely when you try it before fixing. However, the minute you put the load on it, the wheel rubs against the bottom frame and stops turning.I would have returned it to Amazon, but once you fix this on the roof, it is more trouble removing it.Went through a whole lot of trouble to fix it and then see it is not working.

As described: sturdy, well finished and pvc wheel is quiet strong too.Should easily fit 8mm thick ropes and may be upto 9mm or 10mm also. Came with 1.5 inches screws and plastic plugs.
