They are hard, solid powder discs that you have to add ½ teaspoon of water to activate.This process creates a thick clay like substance.These facemask do not have any fragrance to mention.I did have to use my fingers to crush the solid powdered mask. Doesn't take long to dissolve to create a smooth, wet & textured face mask.Application is as easy as rubbing it on my face.The wait time is about 10 to 15 minutes so I usually enjoy a book or meditation during this time. It is easily rinses off with warm water and a washcloth. My skin feels incredibly soft, smooth and fresh, it balances my skin tones and leaves a luminous glow to my skin.I really like that these face masks have no fragrance, parabens sulfates or mineral oils.

I thought that this was a fun, relaxing activity to mix up this mask and apply it. I had a great scent and definitely gave my face a nice clean, brighter complexion. The only issue I really had was getting the thing out of the package without crumbling all over. Overall I really like this product though and will continue using it, easy to use.. put in a dish add water, break up and apply to your face, let sit, wash off.

I want to like this but I think its pointless. Why do I have to mix together my facial before I use it? There are plenty of clay masks that people use that do not require you to mix it up first. What is the point of this? Other than that complaint. It does what it is supposed to do. It moisturizes, the texture isn't bad, and my skin felt clean afterwards.

I wouldn't recommend this product. It doesn't do anything and was hard to use.

Marshmallow Extract & White Clay, Includes 6 MasksI am a big face mask fan, including clay masks, although this was the first one that I’ve used in such a compact form. And I am not a big fan. The way it works is that it comes in a very small package with four tiny compact flowers made of the clay material – to use, you have to get it out, put it in a bowl with some water, mix it up, and then put it on your face. I didn’t have a brush on hand I was willing to risk with the clay material so I just used my fingers and it was a pain. I would recommend a tiny kitchen whisk over fingers, I couldn’t even get the clay to mix in all the way. It did dry on my face fast and it didn’t feel irritating or itchy, which was a plus. But it didn’t really leave me feeling like my face was that moisturized or cleansed. Not worth the effort.The one thing I would recommend this product for – traveling. If you are set on a clay mask and need your clay fix when you’re traveling, these are what you need to get. They’re small and will pass the three-ounce TSA regulation. Otherwise, it’s an average mask that’s kind of a pain to use.

I tried out this face mask and I love it. It is so easy to use. You mix the "pillow" with a little bit of water, and you get a very nice texture to put on your face. After you wash the mask off, your face feels so dewy and moist. There are six "pillows". I love this product so much. I look forward to using the remainder of the "pillows".

This is an interesting mask, which starts out as a flower-shaped tablet that you add 1/2 teaspoon of water to. It takes a bit of work to get it into a mask consistency.The fragrance is mild, with just a hint of marshmallow. This is so nice--I'm someone who isn't a fan of strong fragrances.I'm kind of a skeptic with face masks, so I prefer masks that do something that I can feel, so they don't just end up sitting on my face. This one hardens quite well within the up to 15 minutes it can be left on (depending on thickness applied), so it gives a feeling of tightness to the face. It requires a bit of extra work to remove because it dries (for example, using a washcloth, silicone scrubber, etc.).I'm not sure what I think of having to do an extra step rather than just using a readymade face mask. One nice thing, though, is how little space the package takes up compared to other face masks. I was surprised how small the packaging is.

I LOVE these masks! It dries before you take it off, but it doesn't dry out the skin at all. I have combination skin, but my skin is also very sensitive to a lot of products. I didn't have an issue with this at all. Actually, my skin has been a lot more clear since adding a mask a week to my routine!
