Love the door. It is very well made. It comes painted white and sealed. I wanted white so that worked well for me. It is a beautiful door and added so much interest to a boring area. The instructions had the beginning and ending four pieces turned around so if you know that you can not be frustrated with the pieces not going in as described. Once we figured that out it went together in a snap. Easy to assemble. HEAVY to lift.

Easy to put together. material was solid, some edges were damaged but nothing major. I lightly sanded and painted it a different color anyway.

The measurement to drill the hole for the roller bracket was poorly illustrated. The measurement was given from the top of the door to the top of the hole - who does that? I preferred from top of door to center of the hole. Ugh, I had to plug my first hole to drill the correct hole right below it! Wasn’t happy.Putting the panels together was also challenging. I could not tap them into place with a rubber dead blow hammer - I ultimately needed a pair of bar clamps to work both ends together simultaneously little by little into place. Very tight fit.

I had to make special shims to go in the top and bottom slots to make the Fish Bone slats fit top to bottom. The overall measurement of the slats vs the inside of the slots from top to bottom is off almost 3/4 of an inch. I had to make 3/8” shims to make it so the slats would fit properly otherwise, I was left with a gap on the top or bottom depending on where I started I setting the slats. After I finally figured out what to do, the door only took about 15 minutes to build but I spent a good hour figuring out the problem first. The overall quality of the door is fairly cheap. I would go with a hard wood solution if I had to choose again even if it cost me double what I paid.

I was building a hidden study and needed some reasonably priced barn doors.. these were priced just right., super easy to assemble and the fish bone design is beautiful.. note. the doors come in several pieces so it helps if you lay out the pieces before you start putting them together it will make the process go a lot easier....

The media could not be loaded.  First of all, it was not mentioned that you have to put this together yourself. The directions say the only tool you need is a hex wrench, but that is not true - you also need a rubber mallet. The quality is POOR. The Vinyl covering comes apart on corners and there was a section with damage that I don’t even know what the issues is, but it looks terrible.

Overall decent doors. They weren’t that hard to put together as some ppl say in these reviews. My biggest issue is that the parts for the door came a bit dirty. Second issue is that there’s some peeling. So ideally I’m going to need to paint this door to make it look better.

The barn door arrived on time and the wood is exactly as pictured. It's heavy and sturdy. There was a minor chip on one of the panels but it only added to the "rustic" charm. We ended up using the side with the tiny chip as the back side so really you can't tell. Even without staining, the wood is beautiful. I am so in love with this door and it saved us tons of time had we went the DIY route. I was nervous about buying at first because there weren't any reviews. But i'm so glad I took the chance and made the purchase. The delivery man even brought it inside to the room we needed to hang. Overall, very very satisfied.
