We bought two of these bedside lamps. Height adjustable to suit sleeping position and brightness adjustable too with memory. The addition of a usb charging point on the base of the lamp is inspired. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Great value for money.

These lamps are well-made and attractive, However, they are described as "corded electrric , which is incorrect. They require a mains adaptor, outputting 12v DC, 2amps, which is not supplied (certainly not in the box mine came in). Nowhere in the oroduct description is this mentioned. I found an old, discarded 9v DC 200mA adaptor and gingerly connected that up- it worked, OK, but it isn't the correct voltage so I'm not going to rely on it. THe touch control for ON/OFF works fine, but the dimmer function is absent, perhaps because the adaptor isn't providing the correct current, The product description needs to be re-written, perhapswith alink to asuitable adaptor to be purchased alongside the lamp,

Quality not bad.. do feel quite expensive for item tho

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the lamps. I ordered 2, one for each side of the bed. The brightness is more than adequate and is adjustable as is the height which is very handy. I bought them for the USB charging port but wanted a traditional looking lamp. They are very nice. The base is probably wood effect but you wouldn't know, it looks very much like wood and the lampshade is of a linen type material, again, looks very good. The reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is that I can't use it with my Alexa plug but that's probably my fault as it does not say you can. I think it's because the lamps are touch on and off. Alexa will turn them off but not on until you touch them which defeats the object but nevertheless, I am very happy with them.

After buying two ceiling lights from amazon only to have to replace them because the dimmers packed in the replacements only packed in I said we would never buy anything from amazon again I'm glad I relented and bought three of these lights they are good solid working lights which do the job they were bought for

Although it has a USB port it will not charge my kindle.

Product reasonable but doesn’t work without charger so not in effect cordless
