Works Great, just dont lose the light
We purchased 2 for our Kayaks, They mount easy, are durable, handled being drug under a tree on accident as wasn't thinking the height, when passing under a branch. The only thing is when we first used and opened the light, we didnt tighten the cap on one well and during kayaking a wave came knocked the Cap and the light bulb inside fell out, so currently need to replace the light which is 16.00 for a light. other than that lesson everything functions well, folds and hold up to the Sun and Salt well. We live on the Gulf of Mexico and no issues with Salt buildup or Corrosion inside.

Really nice, and easy for people to see!
I got this because I fish the salt flats and wanted others I fish with to be able to see me and of course for boats to see me.Well, it works great! I was off in a small salt creek not too far from my buddies and they said they could see the flag sticking up over the grass. That's a plus.You can see it in use in the photo! It looks good also. As I fish tournements a lot, many require a flag if you are going out in the ocean at all.Great product and the light works, I just haven't used it as I don't fish at night in my area.

Great safety item for kayakers
The item stows away nicely. The light can be seen for quite a distance at early hours and night time. The flag is very bright and can be seen easily by boaters.

Nicely Made
Folds down and stores away very easily. Light on the top is bright without being too bright. Fits easily into the track mount and stays put. It's light weight and good quality. I give 4 stars because I think it's a bit pricey for what it is.

Feel much safer having this. When boats come off plane for no wake zones they can easily see me when their bow is riding high before settling in to no wake.

Do not Buy - the light will only work 10-12 times defective design
The light only worked for 10-12 trips. I never noticed it until it stoped working but each time you tighten it up the light Led board actually looks like it is wearing out and you have to tighten it up tighter and tighter until you just run out of space to tighten it up. and the it just can't make a connection. this makes this light a very expensive flag. look for a light with a standard on/off switch or spend $10.00 for a flag and a stick. yak attacks was to send a replacement copper spring bar but it doesn't fix the defective board. I wish i had saved my money and just bought speratee flag and light.
