I never thought I would get excited over a hose keeper but I am. This is well made, lightweight, and easy to hose down to clean if needed. Matches the outside of my farmhouse perfectly. I have had previous reel type and even a bowl type but this thing is designed right. I purchased a kink free steel hose to use with it and it is so simple to get it all put away neatly. I will probably be purchasing another one for the backyard too.

I was timid about ordering this. Lots of other hose keepers were more expensive, made of metal, and held more hose. I was pleasantly surprised. This hose keeper (I ordered black) is very sturdy and goes well with my decor (our house is colonial, but it will go with just about any style). I put a high quality 50 ft hose in it and can tell I could get another 50 feet in it if I needed. The keeper sits between our porch and garage, so it's often the first thing our guests see. No one has guessed that there's a hose hiding in it. I am not ashamed of it as I was with our other drab, style-less hose keeper. This one is kind of classy and looks more expensive than it's price would suggest. It has sat our in the hot sun and now in the cold rain for several months and has survived both of them better than I have. I usually don't highly recommend anything, but I will give this my highest 5-star review.

I love this hose bin. It looks classy, holds a lot of hose, and though it is lightweight, once your hose is inside, it is heavy and stays put. There are two problems that keep me from giving it 5 stars: There are no drainage holes so even if I’m careful to shut off the water and let the last of the water in the hose drain out, there is always some water that still drains out of the hose into the box. This could be solved in manufacturing by putting a few punch out buttons on the bottom like you sometimes find in plastic planters. I plan to have my husband drill some holes in the bottom if I can ever catch him when it occurs to me. I usually forget about it until dragging the hose out and then I see all that water in the bottom. The second thing is the lid has to literally be pried off, and putting it on again requires pounding down the four corners to make it tight. A snug lid is good, but one that makes me break my nails prying it off is not. I still love the bin, because it really adds curb appeal, but if these two things were fixed it’d be ideal.

Really needed a new hose storage since the one I had dry rotted from the Central FL sun & heat. I like that it's sturdily make but still not heavy to pick up. I read it's "longevity" info before I purchased it so I have high hopes that it will last a while. The square shape will work better for placement than the barrel shaped one it's replacing. It will house a 100' metal coil hose. Also, the solid cover will be perfect for keeping our sometimes torrential rain out of it. NOTE: I had to hold the container between my knees & pull with both hands, hard, to get the lid off.

It IS light, but that means the lid blows off pretty easily. It looks nice though.

What a great functional place for your hose. So easy to get your hose out and looks so nice. I really like the lid easy to get off when you are using the hose and fits snug enough that nothing can get inside. I thought at first it was a little pricey but it really looks good. You would think from a distance it is metal. It turns out I bought 2 one for the front yard and one for the back

Looks great in photos. Not the best quality and it was so hot from the sun that I thought it would melt. I returned it!

Purchased a beautiful bronze garden hose pot from Amazon a year or two ago. Within two months it started rusting and we threw it away. We then purchased this product. With the black plastic pot you get exactly what the description says. It has held up very well!
