BIC Sport's exclusive award-winning ACE-TEC composite construction delivers lightweight performance AND excellent durability at a great price. ACE-TEC construction features a molded watertight EPS foam core wrapped in fiberglass/epoxy. It's then sealed in a protective ASA skin under heat and pressure in steel molds, giving the board superior durability versus conventional epoxy boards. The BIC Sport WING 11' and 12'6 Touring SUP's have received Outside Magazine's prestigious 'Gear of the Year' award. "A practical, durable, affordable, fun to paddle SUP" is how they described the WING series. Designed for touring, fitness paddling, flatwater cruising, open ocean touring and recreational racing, the WING series is geared towards riders looking for a board with excellent glide that is versatile and easy to ride. Multiple deck attachment points to add deck-bungee for securing gear. A 9" removable Touring fin is included. At 200 liters of volume, the 11' Wing is ideal for beginners up to 175lbs, with plenty of floatation for larger intermediate riders. At 285 liters of volume, the 12'6 WING is stable for riders up to 260lbs and also great for bringing along lots of gear. ERGO-GRIP carry handle = Easier Transport + Less igue. There are two color choices for each size including either Gloss Red or Gloss White/Wahine. Other BIC SUP models featuring ACE-TEC construction include the Surf Inspired Performer series of boards and CROSS All-Around boards.
