My wife does a lot of quilting and the default machine lighting was proving inadequate for her. This unit nicely adheres to the bottom of the machine and effectively lights up the needle area. The white light is perfect for sewing. The adhesive is very effective and it doesn’t fall off in normal use. However the cord holds are a different story; the cord easily slips off when working with replacing thread on thread stands.It should be noted that the light has gotten caught and pulled off when she is quilting large bulky quilts which fill the entire throat area of the machine but this is a very infrequent occurrence. The adhesive patch may or may not stick back up and the wires connecting to the light can separate at the sodder points when this happens. Bought a new one when this happened so overall very happy with unit

Really like how much more light I get with this compared to the LED strip lights I’ve used in the past. Better adhesion because it’s a bigger piece.Two things need improving:The connector to the lights is not tight enough, it disconnects too easily.The on/off switch is through a dimmer dial.. hard to turn all the way around to off in one motion. Takes too much time and hurts the hand. Annoying.

Lighting is great. Perfect for under the arm of my sewing machine. The adhesive is not good but attached velcro stirp to back of light & to machine. Now is transferable between machines!

I've been using this light for six months and am very pleased. I have one sewing machine issue. My machine has no flat surfaces in the harp area. The light is rigid and has raised edges that catch on bulky projects and pulls loose. I bought a small roll of vhb tape at the dollar store and stick it back on when ever that happens. The light is well worth the effort.

I like the lights but they don't stick well to my machine with the stick on that came with it, kept falling off. Finally used some Gorilla Tape, still attached

This light has great brightness and I like the small square vs the string of lights before.The zero stars on adhesive is because when light gets warm it falls off the adhesive pad so pretty much worthless.

This is just what i needed to shed some more light onto what i was sewing. Highly recommended.

Je l'ai acheter pour une machine a coudre industrielle et elle est parfaite. J'en avais une autre identique et payer 2 fois le prix. Elle m'a durer 2 ans. Alors c'est un très bon achat !!!
