Excellent Clear Sealant - Make sure to check the expiration / manufacturing date and shelf life
Used on large window gaps against stucco. I will report back if performance diminishes. For those reviewers who say it’s white - this is a notice to read the label which says it applies white but dries clear in 10-14 days.EDIT: None of the 8 tubes that I ordered (4 tubes of clear and 4 tubes of almond, all 10.1 oz) have an expiry date stamped on it. They do have a batch number, which is in the format "20b28dt002". I just spoke with a representative from Momentive and they informed me that the first three characters are the manufacturing date ("20" = 2020, and "B" = February (B = 2, so second month of the year)). The tubes spec sheet says that they have a shelf like of 24 months (but check, because some have a shelf life of 18 months). If you've ever experienced using expired sealants before, you know to check this before using it. It will never cure and its very obnoxious to remove.

"Clear" is not clear
This stuff got great reviews on durability, and I intended to use it on an outside light fixture. My hand is not so steady anymore, and I knew I'd do a less than professional job, so I wanted the "Clear" type to obscure my defects. Sorry to say it didn't turn out that way. Clear dries White, for all the world to see.Maybe the it will indeed last forever, in which case someone in 600 years will wonder what schmuck applied that caulk. Vita brevis, ars longa.

Best caulk I have found and easy to get a nice smooth bead
This is by far the easiest caulk to apply at normal ambient temperatures above 50 degrees. Easy to spread out with a finger after applying a bead. It is paintable in an hour which is rare for window caulk. After a professional painter had used it for my house trim I was sold and now it is the only window and trim caulk that I use.It does not shrink when it ages and so I will be using it on the rails of my wood fencing to prevent water getting between them and the fence boards. Other caulks I have used have always shrunk after a couple of years with this application and it needed to be removed entirely and then new caulk applied.

Absolutely the best outdoor sealant
I can’t stress just how good this works other than in all my years of using sealant this beats them all. It is just the right consistency and dries faster than others. It flows well in both small and large openings. It sticks great and even although they say to wait 45 minutes to dry enough to be water resistant I found it to be ready in 8 minutes. I did an entire structure before a storm and was completely amazed how fast it was ready. And it can be painted in 24 hours but wouldn’t be surprised if you could do it sooner as well. (This was on a damp cool 57 degree day mind you.) Shrinkage was minimal and I only had to touch up a few areas I applied it super thin. I completely recommend this product.

What the heck?
Repainting/remodeling our screen porch I purchased several tubes of this in white. It's a very nice product. Later, we realized that a tube of clear would be necessary for a small area outside. The clear sell for $2.00 more that the white. Imagine our surprise when we went to us the clear and it was WHITE, just like the other tubes I had paid $2,00 less for. The tube says it contains clear caulking. It does not. It's great caulking but I really felt I got hoodwinked with the clear. I would recommend that caulking, I would not recommend you pay more to get clear because it "clearly" is not clear.

The chickens loved it.
I purchased it to seal a gap between some countertops and backslash and it’s held up well so far and the color was pretty close to what I expected. I had some left so I used it to seal around the door between our chicken coop and their exterior run and it lasted for a few hours before the chicks decided it made a good snack. I only have four leghorns but all managed to get to some portion of a relatively small door frame to peck away at it until it was gone in about 2-days. I did a Web search and there are several threads about chicks eating someone’s caulk off so I should have read that first. On a positive note, it doesn’t seem to have done any harm to the chicks or their eggs so I’ll try some molding strips next. Back to the counter… I initially used InstaTrim and that was a total failure because it just didn’t hold up well to moisture around the sink area and I couldn’t find a caulk color to match it so I pulled it all off and went with this and it seems the problem is solved… for now, anyway.

Faulty Product
I wonder if this batch had issues and was liquidated and then made its way to Amazon. I ordered CLEAR adhesive...the tube says "Clear" but it comes out white. I had hoped that it would actually dry clear but you can see by the photos that it does not...it is white. Not only that, it does not hold well. Several of the items that I used it with have come apart. It's supposed to be a heavy-duty adhesive. I am NOT happy.

Not sure about this...
I received this last week and I applied the caulk/sealant around my door and windows. It was sunny/dry with temperature of 70˚F so it met the desired application requirement of 40˚F - 100˚F. I was a bit skeptical because the caulk's consistency was that of a white toothpaste with a gel like consistency. Not the typical thick and sticky sealant that I have used in the past. (Fast forward 6 days) It rained last night and I noticed this morning that all the sealant turned white (they were clear) as you can see on the photo and does not feel at all weatherproof. Excuse my lack of caulking skills :) Anyhow, I'm not at all confident about this sealant and will replace with another brand.I contacted Amazon for a refund and the agent asked me to return the item. I had to explain to the agent that it's impossible to return the item unless they want me to scrape it all off and mail it in a bag. They were very kind and refunded the item without return. Thank you.
