TRIAX Power 4-Stroke 30W Full Synthetic, 4 Stroke Full Synthetic Small Engine Oil, Garden Tractors and Other Power Equipment (1 Gallon)

100% as described and i personally just like using this for my push mower

I bought this for our RV generator because I wanted a full synthetic oil for better protection.

5w-30 and 10w-30 full synthetic motor oils are common, but a full-synthetic, straight 30-weight motor oil, required by older air-cooled, small engines , is hard to find if you don’t want to pay $14/qt. for the purple stuff.I like the gallon jug with pull-up pour spout cap.👍🏻I did not like waiting two weeks for my order to even ship, but I did received it the next afternoon. I see it is “unavailable” again. I don’t why they can’t produce enough to meet demand and keep it in stock!I added about 6 oz. of this Triax SAE 30 full synthetic oil to top off the existing purple SAE 30 full synthetic oil in my 47 year-old Snapper Hi-Vac lawnmower. The oil level was just down to the “ADD” mark on the 18 oz. fill dip stick. With the first cold start, I immediately noticed an increase in rpm at full-throttle! I thought the engine speed governor was stuck or the governor return spring was disconnected or stretched. I checked, and everything was normal.After fertilizing April 20th, with alternating days of sun and rain, the lawn had grown thick & lush to about 5” high since the last 2” mowing a week ago, waiting for the Triax oil to arrive. The mower acted like it was on steroids; it just plowed right through it without bogging as it normally would have before.This Triax oil has doubled the amount of ZDDP (zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate) required for engines with flat tappet camshafts. According to Lake Speed, Jr. (The Oil Geek on YouTube), ZDDP reduces wear, but increases friction, and too much ZDDP will cause corrosive wear, which is counter intuitive and opposite to my experience of: less friction = more power! Whatever’s in this oil, I can’t wait until I change the oil in my mower next Spring to see what 100% Triax SAE 30 oil does. I will also use it in my rototiller and snowblower engines from now on!

I've used a couple gallons of this oil in my mowers as well as my golf cart. I really like this stuff. After the power failure from the hurricane last month, I bought a new generator. It came with a bottle of 10W30, that was recommended of course. The owner's manual said not to use synthetic oil for the five-hour break-in run. I will comply with that since it stated that the rings may not seat well with synthetic oil. Well trust that my generator will be on a steady diet of TRIAX after its five-hour break-in! That engine must endure long hours of operation in a variety of temperatures. It needs the protection this oil will provide.

Works great I bought another gallon for other small repair engine service that I do i’ve bought a couple gallons. This is my second time. They were great in my small business.

Used iy for a 16 HP Kohler Engine, 1st trial, so have no long term results yet.

Love the built in spout. Was able to change the oil on all my equipment including 2 snow blowers, 2 generators and a power washer. Perfect amount for a good price. Only time will tell how the equipment runs otherwise it would be 5 stars.

I bought this to use in the lawnmowers and generators. It claims to have a high ZDDP content in it, bought it for the protection of the solid tappits in the motor. The ZDDP will help protect all of the other moving parts. Use to use Volvo synthetic 30 weight for all of my mowers and generators but they stopped making it as they said it was bad for Cat. Converters (ZDDP will plug them up).
