All Sales AMI 96022P Chevy 08-12 Malibu Front Bowtie Grille Emblem with Border- Polished, Silver

The overall product quality deserves 5 stars as the billet felt very durable and high quality; it was heavy and shiny just like a high quality billet emblem should be. However, this item was marked as an "exact fit" for my car, but it actually doesn't fit at all. So I'm not sure if Amazon, or the seller, has the item marked incorrectly but this bow tie will not fit a 2012 Chevy Impala, or any Impala this body style for that matter, without body work/heat splicing on the grill; aka removing the original emblem from the grill with heat and cutting and hoping this emblem will glue on in it's place (HINT: I didn't even have to try, the emblem is visually too large for the allocated slot even with heat/splicing). So I'll give 5 stars for the quality of the product as it was awesome, but 0 stars for my ability to use it because it's marked incorrectly on Amazon, which balances out to around 3 stars. After some further research I discovered no full bow tie emblem can be replaced on my model of car without removing the original emblem completely with heat and cutting/splicing, so I'm confused why this item was listed as an exact fit replacement when it clearly is not meant for my model of vehicle. If it will fit your car it will look sharp and you'll get a high quality product. It just wouldn't fit mine.....even though Amazon still has it listed as an exact as of 6/1/15. So, Impala buyers buy with caution please...."exact fit" doesn't always hold true. Amazon did issue a full refund very punctually of course upon my return of the product (as they always do) and which I appreciate.

Great to have billet aluminum on the front end, it cleans up great with the bugs of the night. I added additional 3-M Trim Tape to make sure it never comes loose for safety and avoid dirt from getting behind it. EXCELLENT look on my 2012 Malibu. All Chrome and Silver on the front bumper shell. De-badged the rear but covered with a "Special Edition" badge because if removed from the Trunk Lid their are TWO holes in a 2012 factory emblem location. Get the SET if you want the upgrade both front and the Rear Emblems. It worked out for me at the local Auto Parts store. But local Chevy Dealer was completely wrong in the Body Shop, IT HAS Center HOLE and Oval Hole to assemble easily and line up on the Production Line. BatmanDSM

Did not fit my 2012 Chevy Malibu

I don't like being one of those people who orders something, then gives it less stars than it deserves because the reading skills were off that day. But in this one (so far) case, i will. I studied it pretty good, but probably not close enough. I underestimated the dimensions, so it ended up being larger than i thought. I wanted an emblem that would fit inside the grill, but this is a standalone emblem. I like the way it looks, but it doesn't fit anywhere on my car. I'm still trying to find a use for it becuase i ilke it, but it will probably end up in a box with other useless stuff. I'm not sending it back because i reserve hope i will find a use for it. Sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. We'll see. But, if this review should be about the item itself, then it's a nice size, has a nice finish and would look great on a vehicle.

Included instructions say "studs included" but they are not. will require some fabrication unless you want to trust the double sided tape/foam rubber plastered to the back of the emblem.

Product dimensions state 11x6x6 inches. This isn't even close to that. Much smaller.
