Flash Furniture Computer Desk with Glass and Cherry Laminate Top

I bought this desk for computer work and to have a nice big space to sketch with a monitor up for references. As a work desk, it's pretty good. The glass top looks nice, but I admit it's a little annoying - it can be really cold on my arms even when it's not particularly cold in my office, and you need a mousepad to be able to use an optical mouse. However, I liked having the visual distinction between the glass and "wood" pieces as it helps me keep organized.The glass part is also very heavy and was tricky to deal with when we moved, something to consider for students who might move around a lot. I took the top pieces off for moving but kept the body together, and it's big enough that it took some acrobatics to get it through standard doorways.For art, it's a nice big surface and stable enough while drawing, but it does shake quite a bit when I'm erasing, which can be annoying especially when using a desk lamp. That said, even solid wood tables can shake while erasing :) It doesn't wobble or anything during normal use, you just need to be careful when putting it together and tighten the bolts a little at a time in sequence (like changing a tire, don't tighten one all the way first). It feels sturdy and heavy, and it came well packaged with no major damage or missing pieces. Don't lose the allen wrench that comes with it - there is very little clearance between the metal supports and the bolts that hold the wood pieces on, and a larger allen wrench like you might find in a toolkit won't fit.The tower tray thing is pretty silly, I have no use for it but gave it to my boyfriend, and his tower is almost 25% too long for it, so it fits but looks a little sketchy. If you have a custom build computer you might want to double check the dimensions if you're counting on using the rolling tray. The rails are inset from the edge a little, which makes the platform even smaller.Overall, I'm happy with this desk. It looks nice and stylish, it's a large working surface, and it's stable and sturdy for normal use. The price is a little high in my opinion, but being able to get it online with Prime shipping was a huge convenience.

This is a nice desk and a good value for the price. I was looking for an extra large desk to fill a particular space and after a month of ownership it has worked out great. Due to the space issue, I spent a lot of time comparing products based on their dimensions, and so I noticed that the product has very different numbers for "product dimensions" and "assembled dimensions." The assembled dimensions are incorrect and should be ignored; the product dimensions are correct. I will also note that the first desk I received was badly damaged during the transit process, but Amazon made the replacement process seamless. I was uninterested in the wheeled CPU cart and ended up discarding it. I'm not sure why they include it.I am subtracting one star due to the issues noted above, neither of which cause issues with the use of the desk. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Very sturdy desk. Extremely easy to put together, took under an hour. Wood on the sides is particle board with laminate on top - so it is not of the highest quality. However, for this price, it is to be expected. There was a small dent in one of the particle board sections (probably from shipping) but I was able to orient the section so it is invisible. The glass top is not clear but has a white coating on the underside, which is really nice and adds to the classy look. The computer roller just barely fits a mid-ATX computer case, anything larger will not fit on the roller. Overall I am quite happy with the desk.

I bought this desk to ship new in the box to Japan from Texas with our household goods so that I wouldn't have to take my massive L-Shaped desk due to smaller homes / weight limitations.Overall the desk is cosmetically nice (5 Stars). I really love the way it looks with the glass and cherry laminate. However, their are a few fatal flaws with this desk:- Optical / Laser mice do not work on the glass and therefor a mouse pad is needed.- When I attempted to put this desk together following the instructions I found that the pre-fab'd holes were incorrect. After putting on the two cherry sides I attempted to insert the glass and found that it was a quarter of an inch off. Just to double check I loosened every bolt on the desk and try to wedge it in with no luck. With limited supplies (Base Exchange / Aafes), I ended up having to re-drill the holes and screw the wood down correctly after putting the glass on first. Needs to say, I was not a very happy camper. (-3 Stars due to poor pre-fab).If I was stateside, I would have returned this to Amazon / the Vendor. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the hassle of shipping it across the Pacific Ocean.

I was a bit skeptical considering there aren't many reviews for this desk. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the desk. It's not a perfect desk (it came with some cosmetic damages, for which I was returned a small sum of money) but it's definitely a sturdy, spacious and stylish desk. I think the size makes it very desirable. I think I could squeeze in 3 24" monitors on the desk. There's adequate depth too, so you can comfortably space out your monitor, keyboard and still have room for a notebook etc. Overall good purchase. Can't complain for the price.

The table was fairly easy to assembly. It took about 30 minutes from start to finish. It looks elegant enough to complement an office environment and is sturdy for non-heavy use.Material quality is ok - it is a veneer, which is how it is advertised.

Simple, durable construction. I wasn't expecting too much out of this desk for the price, I got a very sturdy and stylish desk. The only things keeping it from four stars were a couple of holes did not line up correctly during assembly and I had to drill them out my self, and the feet are a garish shiny chrome that does not match the brushed aluminum of the legs.

Love this desk. It's the perfect size and very sturdy. Looks fantastic.

The desk is in good quality, easy to assemble. It took about half an hour for my husband and I to put everything together except for the small wheeled board. I thought there would be uneven edges between the wooden part and the glass, but it turned out there was no need to worry about.

Very large desk, about 4.6 long and 2.2 feet deep. The quality obviously isn't top notch but you shouldn't expect that for this price. The look, feel and design is quite good and the glass is tempered glass so it is very sturdy. Setup took about an hour, but I did it with little to no help so with two people you can get this done much faster.The tower cart is pretty much useless, at least for me since my PC tower is a lot wider and to be honest I haven't a computer case ever that could fit in there.Only things I don't like is that the screws are very cheap and strip easily. Not a big deal though because if you don't use the screws for the "CPU" cart, you'll have extras. The other thing is that the wood panels on each side of the glass don't like up properly (not flush) so I had to move my mouse pad just on the edge of it. I should also mention that there is a SLIGHT (very, very slight) wobble. This annoyed me at first but after an hour I completely stopped noticing it and I only remembered it as I was writing this review.Great desk for gaming and studying.

Excellent desk for the price. The wood pieces are slightly raised from the glass, so its awkward under where you would put the mouse pad. Big enough for dual monitors. Easy to assemble.
