this hair dryer was replacing an ancient conair with a diffuser attachment. So, the air dryer in itself works great, but I would agree with the other reviewer that states this was not a great hair dryer for long hair. Indeed if you are not careful, your hair can get sucked into the back end of the dryer and then the dryer sounds funny and you get burnt hair smell. Since this end of the hair dryer is cool, I wrapped a piece of stiff cardboard around the back end, held in place with a rubber band. I left the back end (the intake end) open, it is NOT covered by anything, and the extended length prevents my long hair from getting sucked in. It's silly that I should have to do this but it's past the return window. I'm also going to see if I can figure out a more long term solution.It is lighter and quieter than my really really old hair dryer and dries well.

I really like it. I have long, below my shoulders hair. Not once has my hair been sucked up and caught by it as some have claimed. It does have a little weight, but the way it is made makes it so much easier to hold. It still isn’t as heavy as my old one. The attachments fit snugly, and stay on until you pull them off. It also has an extra long cord and is much quieter than others I have had.

Alright, so.. I like the hair dryer a lot… it’s not heavy the heat works great the power is great, doesn’t take forever to dry my hair… only 2 things that aren’t great and the reason I gave a 4 star is…. It’s a short hair dryer so my hair is getting sucked in through the back and the diffuser for me is a little smaller than I’d normally use. So if you got long hair, I wouldn’t go with this hair dryer… unless you’re just straightening it. Than you’re good… over all I am going to keep it just because I don’t think it’s a horrible hair dryer..: I may just look around for a bigger diffuser for it!

Sadly I didn't recieve it due to an amazon courier issue and not the seller, but still wanted to boast about this for anyone looking for a quality dryer without the bulk and price tag most come with. I have ridiculously thick hair that takes nearly 8 hours to air dry, and so I started blow drying it partially or fully and had been sharing a dryer with my mom. I travel back and forth a lot so I did try another small dryer but it was too weak to get through all my hair effectively, and I can't just take my mom's either. A friend got this and told me to try it out, and it very literally blew me away! The setting controls allow you to manage temperature and air flow separately unlike similar dryers that only have 3 settings. It's deceptively powerful given how quiet it is and the attachments are great for quickly and effectively drying and styling even with how thick my hair is. Its got a little weight to it but far from bulky, a nice weight that amplifies the ease of control when using and durability when packed for traveling. Its the perfect size to travel and easily can be fit into most bags along with other toiletries or items. Im reordering this once I get the refund for the lost package because I doubt there is any other dryer comparable to this within a good price range.

My hair dresser uses a Dyson and I love how quiet it is but it takes a big to get my short hair dry. I will not pay that kind of money for a hairdryer for myself. I tried this one and I am very happy. It's light and easy to handle. Controls are easy and in the right spot . It dries my hair very quickly and it's much quieter than any other dryer I have ever used. Without being about to have a side by side comparison with the dyson I can only go on recall for sound and I'd guess this is just as quiet. Haven't traveled with it, never really a need any more but I'm sure it would not take up much space. Very Happy with the product.

I hadn't purchased a new hairdryer in about 15 years when my last one went kaput! Bought this one because of the price and the accessory diffuser.... well technology has come a long way, even in this low price option, it does a great job, easy to use, reasonably light weight. I'm very glad I purchased this.

I really like this dryer. I'm over the moon to have attachments. However they are a little hard to remove. It would be nice if they came off a little easier. I really have to tug and wiggle them. Makes me nervous I'm going to break it. Other than that it dries my hair and kids hair really well and we all have thick hair.

Have had this about 2 months now. Works great, except now the concentrator is loose and the slightest bump will cause it to fall off. I don't know about the diffuser doing the same thing because I don't use it.Now it's past the eligible return date..... If I had a second chance, I would not purchase this again.
