Changes from red to green when charged.
Works great with the Yaesu Ft-270. The light on the charger changes to green once charged. I am very pleased.

Works great, and a clone of this has lasted more than 3 years.
It is easy to insert the battery alone, or when installed on the radio. The LED gives a clear indication of a complete charge by changing from red to green. I wanted another like I bought a few years ago, but couldn’t find one with the same name. I matched the photo and ordered it. It appears to be exact in every way. If it continues to work as it does now I’ll be very pleased.I gave it four stars instead of five as this version hasn’t passed the test of time.

Seems good, has a Metal "Under-Carriage"...... the design is generally robust and its performance is up to snuff.... I would definitely buy again if needed!

Poor quality
Unable to connect charging cable to charger base connector would not stay on pin in connector. Returned for exchange had the same problem with pin snapped off in connector on base

Overheats even new batteries. I do not recommend using unattended.
Ordered new batteries and charger at same time. Thus new charger overheats even the new batteries. Gets too hot for my comfort to leave unattended. Amazon return center 1-1\2 hrs away. Not worth time and fuel to return.
