Perfect Little Safe
The safe was exactly what i was looking for. The combination is easy to set and works every time. The batteries have lasted so far, even in the freezing temperatures of my car. the inside i thought needed a little more padding, which just required some old sheets and a hot glue gun. the back-up key is neatly hidden. nothing more to say. I'm happy!UPDATE: After months of heavy use (constantly opening and closing it/it being tossed around in my car) the product has held up really well. The only issue I have is with the battery compartment. Its located on the door and the piece of plastic which holds it in is pathetic. This issue is easily solved with duct tape! The only other issue, which is minor, is that the "ready" light is never on anymore and the "battery low" light is always on, even after new batteries. Again this is not a big issue as i change the batteries regularly. still leaving 5 stars because i have put the safe through "way above average" abuse and it has held up better than i thought it would.

Fort Knox
Excellent personal safe. I live in a college house, and often worried about my things getting stolen so this has given me the piece of mind needed.Love the options for mounting holes, either on the back, or the bottom, and comes with set-screws.Nice option of manual key backup, incase the battery fails, except there is a low battery indicator light so that never happens!Perfect price, perfect amount of protection.

Works, but not much storage space.
My mistake was seeing pictures and not reading dimensions. Can't mount to wall due to holes not stud length. Holds a few small things so if you want more storage and one to wall mount get bigger and read details like I didn't.

Don't buy
Don't buy! It can be broken into EASILY, if more than one way. I'd list all the ways but I'm sure some will still purchase it .. and then I'd only be telling people how to steal other people's belongings. Again, don't buy. FYI ... the safe says it's made by Honeywell. This is a LIE! Contact Honeywel & ask them.

Great to keep out small children, but doubtfully much else
The quality of the safe itself is really good, very hard steel probably a little over an 8th of an inch thick, very solid for what it's meant to be. It has mounting brackets to mount on either a wall or floor, the bolts are included.Programming was easy, it took me less than 5 minutes. Just simply press the reset button on the inside of the safe and type in the code you want. Also the slot for the key override is well hidden under a piece of plastic on the front (the little section between the code entry pad and the handle) which is nice for aesthetics. Now for the bad part- the twist-handle used to open the safe is of very poor quality. It's cheap plastic that has literally over a quarter inch of play in it. If you twist on it while the safe is locked it feels like it actually may break if you twist just a little harder. To the point where I'm afraid I might accidentally break it just by testing to make the safe is locked after I close it. I'm fairly certain it could be popped off easily even with just a screwdriver. HOWEVER, that being said- I don't know if breaking this handle would open the safe. So as to whether this counts as a security risk I can't tell you. It just makes me think it's very insecure. I use it to keep a firearm at my girlfriend's house safe from her kids. It works great for that purpose, but I don't think I would trust leaving anything other than that in it.
