Does this work for adults?

It depends on how much the adult weighs. My 17 year old son use it and he weighs about 160. I use it and I weigh 220 however, the nose raises up out the water and I get scrounged between the dorsal fin and the tail. So what I do is I use the tail to rest on while pushing my 5 year old daughter around.

How do you fill air? My air inlets appear to have a plastic cover inside do I need to punch a whole?

I think there is a small simple valve in the air inlet, try squeezing it about half way then blowing into the inlet.

My whale dose not hold air check all around...dont know?

It has happened to my whales too, but it's nothing you should worry about. It only releases a tad bit amount of air.
