1 8"Angle Steam Vent, Adjustable

Replaced all the defective Steam radiator vents in the house. Now the steam is working again. The older “cheap” vents had all failed. The adjustable Vent-rite vents are more expensive but definitely work better than the cheaper models available at the big box stores. Also, my steam maintenance man recommended this brand.

These are the best steam vents you can buy! I've lived in a very old NYC apartment for 20+ years. The radiators here give me issues every year (no heat/slow heat/clanging and hissing noise, etc). I've replaced the steam vents about 8 times so far with every possible brand/style out there attempting to get functional heat. Trying to figure out each brand's pressure numbering system is ridiculous and pointless. These Emerson adjustable valves have resolved all my issues. NO more loud hissing or clanging. The heat comes quick and consistent. I can dial up the rooms that I want warmer and down in other rooms...just a small adjustment to the numbered dial. They are definitely more expensive than the other brands and types, but you will not regret the expense once you've placed them. Seriously, these are amazing and you need to buy them right now!

Love these vents!! Had a few vents that weren't working properly. One was leaking /spitting water and one was just not working at all. It wouldn't close when the radiator got fully hot. Searched my local big box stores and bought the ones they had in stock because I couldn't find these ones anywhere. Complete junk. One actually split down the side. Yes they fit but they felt cheap and there is no dial to set the venting rate.Anyone with steam heat and cast iron radiators knows that being able to set each radiators venting rate is crucial to an evenly heated and quiet house.I finally found these on Amazon. Yes they are more money that what you think a vent should cost,but worth every penny! I wish they offered a package deal on them since anyone who has steam heat has more than 1 or 2 cast iron radiators. If you need new vents,don't even waste your time with the cheap ones. Get these. You won't regret it.

Works great and I got my radiator venting all dialed in finally. It’s just louder than I thought it would for the $. Hisses a bit when venting and clicks when closing. Oh well it’s worth it to be able to control my steam and don’t see many better options available.

This vent works much better than other ones I purchased but it is pricey, triple the price.

These steam vents aren't cheap but they really helped even out the heat in our house. Every radiator now gets hot and heats its respective room. Since each vent is adjustable, it's like having a thermostat in every room. The boiler doesn't have to work as hard and the fuel costs are declining. Probably should have done this long ago...

Love this valve, works great. Now all the fins on my radiator heat up whereas before they did not. Purchased 3 so far, and I plan on replacing all my radiator valves asap. I highly recommend this valve!
