Aputure introduces a whole new class of modifiers with the Aputure spotlight holder kit. Achieve a high level of light control for sharp contours with the integrated bezel, work with the highest precision when equipping your light with one of the three different lenses. Precision optics. The three lenses for the spotlight holder have been specially developed for professionals. The high resolution lenses not only increase the light output of the 120d II by 10 times, they also produce a uniform beam with minimal light drop at the edges and at the same time maintain a constant colour temperature with a deviation of less than 200 degrees Kelvin. Minimal edge stripes. The new lens technology of the spotlight holder minimises chromatic aberrations at the edge of the lighting circuit. Compared to similar ellipsoid lights, the mount reduces the edge colours by only 1 mm at a distance of 5 metres. Light shaping As with typical ellipsoid lights, the spotlight holder also offers an easy change of lenses between 19°, 26° and 36°, regardless of whether you need a larger lighting circuit or a higher accuracy. In combination with the internal aperture, filmmakers can precisely control the shape of the light. Add flair to your set. With the included Gobos (Graphical optical blackout) in B-size, the gobo holder and the gel frame, the spotlight holder allows even stronger light manipulation to easily project any shape or colour. The optional removable aperture allows filmmakers to further optimise the shape and size of the light output. Thanks to the dual slot design of the mount, filmmakers can use Gobo and aperture at the same time. Modular design. In line with the other high quality light modifiers from Aputure, the spotlight holder remains true to the philosophy of versatility and modularity, the Bowens mount can be used for the 120d Mark II and 300d series. Dual junior / baby holder. The spotlight holder has been designed with versatility in mind and features a dual junior and baby mount so it can be attached to any location with a C to combo tripod or lighting grid. Sturdy metal construction. The holder is designed for durability. With its die-cast aluminium housing, it conforms to the Aputure standard for durability while using a lighter design than typical tungsten lamps.
