2 Outlet Xtender Power Cord Splitter

The product image clearly states "2 Pack" in the top right corner. This is what made me click "buy now" without realizing the "fine print" that says "1-pack in the product description."Needless to say I was surprised to get a 1-pack.

I used this in the shop to split off the garage door opener to power a light for the garage thus saving an power outlet.Good price, good tight connection.

Most good reviews tell it correctly ... Heavy duty plug, very well made, quality ... 16AWG(1.31mm2 VW-1 75 deg. C 300v ) .... NOT for outdoor use unless protected from water .... I checked polarity, is correct .... Maybe the older batches came from a poor worker who didn't perform assembly correctly, I believe the manufacturers have corrected that problem for future cordsBest advantages include being able to plug in those clunky adapters that are too big for power strips ... Not a problem with this .... (Wall adapters only allow for small cords, even my 6 slot one, else the adapters take up almost the entire multi-plug spaces) .... and... You can hide the cords behind furniture for a neater house appearance ... With a couple of the "y" splitters, I use extension cords too (from same company, so same thickness, quality, color), and I can keep my chargers ready for tablet, cellphone, laptop, and lamp .... all neatly tucked away, so I simply use the business end in the proper machine ... Sooo convenient, better than a docking station (my opinion)I plan to purchase two more splitters & two more extension cords (gives me 4 plug-ins), to be beside my recliner .... Need to plug in that electric blanket while on the laptop, and tv! ... Leaves one open for the vacuum sweeper .... hehhee

Get it if you are a gamer, or on your computer etc. I have multiple ones from 2, 3, 4 inputs. Great for work.

I attend seminars, meetings that typically have persons trying to be first to the nearest socket to ensure their devices are kept charged. This has not been a worry for me since getting this product as, with a colleague's permission I am able to have us share a single outlet. I recall doing this in early March 2018 and my colleagues were at first apologetic that there were no free outlets until I pulled this lil gadget out. Yeah, they wanted one too. heheThe product allows me to for example, attach a monitor to my laptop and both would have power so I can work with multiple screens in situations where I am visiting friends and family who have only two socket wall outlets in a room and already have an appliance plugged into one.There have been no issues since I have been using the device. I have recommended and will continue to recommend this product (and its variations) until supm changes. *thumbup*

Very handy for use in places on your AV surge protectors where the use of more and more 12 V. transformers these days can change a 12 outlet surge protector affectively into a 7 or less outlet unit because of the size of these little transformers and of course also on how many of these units you are plugging into it. It is impossible not to loose at least one outlet if not two because of them blocking part of the others. These little 12V transformers don't carry in general a lot of load with them so plugging two of these in one outlet of your surge protector will not do any harm I suppose.The quality of these outlet extender/splitters is somewhat typical of the cheep Chinese plastic that you find these days but they will do the job I think for a reasonably length of time before they will show sign of deterioration and drying.
