Hasegawa 1:48 Scale Macchi C202 Folgore Model Kit

Great little kit. everything fit perfectly without trimming or filling. Very well engineered for an old kit. Plus: it arrived earlier than expected.

Nice kit, but not for beginners. Overall the parts fit together well. The only problem i encountered was the fit of the cockpit, some sanding and scraping off of the plastic was necessary for a good fit. Once that was completed, the rest of the kit just fell together. Recommended for modelers who want something different.

For a model molded first in the late 90s, this kit still stands the test of time. Minor mold release marks here and there, but nothing a modeler can't handle with ease. Cartograph decals of two different subjects by the way!

The Folgore proved superior to both the Hurricane II and P-40 Tomahawk/Kittyhawk during its first North African engagements.Building and painting this model kit was so smooth like my hands were on autopilot. All the parts fit snuggly and I didn't notice any gapping. The small details stand out and Hasegawa did an outstanding job.

The model got to my house in reasonable time and it was fun to put together. I'm not to good with my paints but the simple camouflage style made it easy to look pretty nice. I highly recommend this beautiful Italian fighter!

I’m happy with the actual kit, & luckily it appears to be undamaged, but it was hardly protected at all in the bag it was sent in, & was crushed during shipping…
