We pretty much diffuse oils 24/7 in our home for health reasons. I'm a self- taught herbalist and have had a lot of success treating various health complaints with oils. I was thrilled to find such a cost effective citrus kit, and after experiencing the lovely mandarin (which is new to me), I'm definitely going to be getting more of this company's products. Be aware that different oils have very different effects on the body, and since your body is smart, it will reject certain smells. You should always respect its preferences. Thinking an oil is yuck doesn't necessarily mean it's poor quality, but it does mean it's not a good choice for your system, so chuck it and move on to other scents. Citrus oils are very useful for cleaning out unwanted odours (from cooking, etc). They also tend to perk up your mood. Because they are so intense, you should diffuse them rather than inhale directly from the bottles. While many oils are fine to put directly on your skin (like lavender), citrus oils aren't a good choice for that bc they can be irritating. Don't be put off by the standard tiny bottles. You just need a few drops at a time so the bottles last a good while. The 10 ml sizes are great for trying new scents-- you can always buy bigger quantities of your favourites if you want. I appreciate that this company includes the Latin plant name on the bottles so you know exactly what you're getting. I won't buy from companies that don't do that, bc the species is important when you're interested in the medicinal properties. I'm always happy to find a new supplier, so this is great. I'd definitely recommend.

I actually bought this for myself, as I use essential oil burners and wanted my home to smell Christmas-y. And it's good value to test out a number of scents. Scent is such a personal thing though, and I've given 4 stars instead of 5 because:The PIne Needle smells like toilet bowl cleaner to me (which is too bad as I love the smell of a pine forest);The Cinnamon Bark smells lovely but isn't strong enoughI don't ever like Orange but I mixed it with the Cinnamon and it smells wonderfulI LOVE the Clove Bud but some people might find too strongI LOVE the Lavender (I've been searching for ages for a lavender I really liked as I use a lot during the year in my home and the one I'd used for years isn't being made anymore. I've found too many other lavenders too artificial; this one is very nice. I'll have to do a bit more living with it but I think I've found the one)

I have a list as long as my arm of essential oils I want (need!) for my collection, and then I came across this Nikura box set.This little 5 box set is cheap as anything working out at £2 each, and they smell divine. I literally hadn’t even opened the box and I could smell the citrusy scents.I have already broken them all open to give them a proper sniff and used a couple of them in homemade lotions and potions!I would definitely recommend and I will be buying more in future!

These are really good quality essential oils for the price, all smell lovely and made a great gift. The packaging was nice and can easily be popped in a gift bag for a present. A nice variety of floral smells.

Smell not strong

I've spent a fortune on candles & different room scent gadgets to try & make my house smell less like teen-agers trainers, wet dog, noxious clouds of aftershave & perfume from teen-agers in love & a husband who thinks his flatulence was what I found attractive about him. Leaving windows open all year round wasn't feasible so I'm very happy to have found these fabulous essential oils. I use them in my diffuser & the light, fresh & fruity scents are unobtrusive yet effective. They don't affect anyone's asthma in our house, which has happened with other oils & scents. Everybody likes them. You only need use a few drops for 4-6 hours scent with my diffuser. I think they're great value for money. My son has even asked for some to take back to Uni with him. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants their life to have a nicer scent hanging around.

Very nice set with very kind of citrus scent. I use it to make home made air fresheners and cleaning products. I like the smell
