If you’re like me and you got a Syrian hamster without really knowing what you’re getting into, just save yourself the trouble and buy this wheel now. They get way bigger than pet store employees will tell you and a huge wheel is the best way to ensure they’ll never have issues with spine curvature. Don’t be like me and find yourself buying 5 different wheels as your hamsters continues to morph from something the size of a baby mouse to something the size of a tiny guinea pig as you stand by in shock. Just get a big wheel now, and save yourself the trouble.Many times in life I’ve been reminded (sometimes painfully) that you get what you pay for. This is definitely one of those cases. The price might seem like it’s insanely expensive for a hamster wheel, but honestly it’s worth it. Absolutely silent, even more silent than the so-called silent spinners in fact. I’m talking you cannot even tell if your animal uses it or not, because you’ll never hear the thing. Sturdier than it looks, the stand is made of metal which I didn’t expect. A good, solid heavy base. I had to purchase this wheel because my hamster kept knocking over her silent spinner which eventually broke it, I got this and I’m pretty sure it would require human intervention to ever knock it over. Certainly a chunky Syrian hamster won’t be able to anymore. Finally it spins so smoothly and so easily that even though it’s 12 inches, I’m almost certain mice or dwarf hamsters could use it.Absolutely worth the price. For such good quality I wouldn’t expect any less. Also it came 2 days early so bonus points for that!

Hello! I have a hamster that I made a bin cage for. It's appropriate base wise, but after receiving this in the mail, I realized it's too tall. Don't be like me and try to drill a hole lower because then it won't spin. It's not the company fault at all, so if your enclosure is big enough, this is great! I love that it glows in the dark. It's important for a hamster to have the right size wheel and enclosure so I'm going to make a bigger bin cage which you can make for about the price of this which is great! There's tutorials everywhere including YouTube. This isn't noisy at all and for the time being, I let my hamster use it under supervision until I make the bigger cage. I love love love that it glows in the dark! It's very well made. It's super sturdy and honestly took a lot of effort to drill through (again, don't do that lol it doesn't work then)

My female Syrian loves her wheel. We have the 12 inch wheel in a 55 gallon tank. When we used velcro to stop the metal clicking against the glass, all I heard is the cute pitter patter of her feet. The price is a little high but worth it since I won't be buying any additional wheels. When you take the cover off the wheel to clean it, you just have to be careful putting it back together since the part the animal runs on has to go into a grove on the cover. The actually part the animal runs on is thinner plastic. I would highly recommend this wheel. Her back wasn't arched at all when running.

I do love it... it’s a massive wheel but upon doing much research after (whoops) getting my hamster, I found that they can grow very large and they will need a wheel that can fit that height... his back on his other wheel was totally curved and I felt so bad for the poor boy so I did a lot of research and decided to spend the extra money to buy this wheel for him. As soon as I put it in his cage he walked right onto it and started running! He really loves it and it is quiet. I could hear it a bit at first but that was because it was too close to the glass of the tank he has as a cage so I moved it a bit forward and it’s good now, although, still I would not call it 100% silent but I think it as as silent as a wheel could possibly be.I like that it glows in the dark since hamsters see best in dim lighting so I like to think it provides some light for him to see when I’m sleeping and the house is pretty much pitch black. Overall, it’s worth the money to get a large wheel that your hammy will never out grow and will be happy with forever!!

I purchased this for my 2 degus. The wheel itself is very flimsy, and they include a thumb nut instead of a wing nut, which does not allow you to attach it very tightly to the cage. I had to make some additional spacers out of cardboard and even the, the wheel was still not sturdy on the cage wall.After less than a week of use, the wheel fell off of the bearing. I am returning the wheel and have purchased an all metal wheel that is made in the US by a reputable Company.

We really love this thing originally. We had to go down to the workshop to find parts to attach it to the side of the cage but it fell off a few times. So then we reattached it to its metal stand. Which was fine for a little while but the nuts are constantly coming loose so I have to constantly go over there reach inside her wheel and tighten it backup so that it doesn't clink call night and wobble. It's kind of difficult to clean so I usually just take it out back and clean it with a pressure washer. 😅😂It's not the worst wheel that I've had but it's not exactly perfect either. I don't think I paid $40 for it again. Maybe be willing to buy it again if it were say $20. It's just been a bit more trouble than it's worth. 😩 I'm on here today to buy a new wheel and it won't be this one again.

Great quality wheel! Does not make any sound which is awesome! Gone are the days of the squeaky wheel running all night long. Yay! I think this is a great size for rats and larger Syrians. Love that it glows in the dark too. Only downside is this is a VERY EXPENSIVE wheel! I really think it’s crazy that the silent runner that is 9in (yellow) is literally half the price of this wheel. Double? Really? Maybe 10 bucks more ...but 20?! Ridiculous. But otherwise it’s a AWESOME wheel that is everything you could ask for.

I got this hamster wheel as I knew the one I had was getting too small for my dude, but due to the 💵💵💵 I had to save up, and I wanted to make sure this one was good so I did some research and overall I'm VERY HAPPY with my purchase at 1st when I saw it I was like 😳 but once I put it in the cage (which is a bit of a struggle seeing how there is only 1 place it will fit in my cage) I was 😍 and gizmo was like 😁🤪🥰💯👌 sceptical of all the $ and if it was as good as ppl said but I believe it is! It's SUPER QUIET, my hamster loves it, it glows (noticeably) very well, it seems stable/sturdy/well built.... My boyfriend and his friends all made comments when I put it in the cage cuz they were at our house partying the day I did his cage clean and added it and 2 since then my bf has commented how 🤫 it is & how much 🙂 gizmo seems in his wheel 👍all my friends think he has an awesome cage, my boyfriends friends like socializing/playing with him, everyone is happy & 😍/notice the difference this wheel makes

I am IN LOVE with this wheel! I ordered it on a whim early one morning at 3am when my hamsters old wheel was keeping me awake, and the next morning I found myself regretting having purchased such a pricey wheel, but now I know it was worth every penny! I can only hear the little tip-taps of my hamster Anakin’s little feet. I couldn’t get a good photo for size reference because she loves to run on it, but Anakin is on the larger side for a Syrian hamster and I got a 12 inch wheel and it works perfect for her. It’s width is perfect (thinner than most wheels so fits perfect in cages but still wide enough for a hamster) and the quality is great. Would recommend this 100%!!!

If you guys are looking to buy a wheel for your hamster, it’s this one. I recently had another wheel that barely rotates and was squeaking loud. My hamster did not even bother running on it. But when I bought this one, he loves it. He runs on it every night for almost the whole night (I think).

So far in the middle of the night this thing has fell off the wall (cage attachment) 3 times! Causing a loud crash 😳. Definitely afraid of it squishing one of my sugar gliders. Ready to toss the thing. JUNK.

Definitely need a bigger cage now tho but its perfect for my hamster
