BachmannTrains End of Train Device with Track-Powered Flashing LED - HO Scale, Black

The media could not be loaded. I received the Bachmann End of Train Device (EOTD) today and installed it on my new Bachmann Industries CSX #256439 ACF 56’ Center-Flow Hopper (HO Scale). I have to say it works and looks amazing!While I normally don’t order Bachmann products due to their lesser focus on intricate detailing compared to other brands, this EOTD exceeded my expectations. Installation was an absolute breeze, and it added a realistic touch to my layout that I didn’t realize I was missing.Yes, Bachmann may not be known for the same level of detail as some other brands, but their durability is a big advantage. With fewer fragile parts, their products can withstand regular handling better, which is great for active model railroading.Overall, this EOTD is an excellent addition, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enhance their layout with a functional and visually appealing detail.

As a stand alone unit this light works very well and the flash rate is accurate. Longer cars may need to have the leads extended requiring the modeler to have minimal soldering skills.

Worked perfectly and adds realism to my model RR. There is no model RR shop any more in my home town so this is an obvious choice to get this product.

Nice light. The flash sequence is very accurate. One big problem is the mounting screw for the truck. It requires a larger head diameter. It should be included with the purchase. I made a special washer to make my standard screw work.

I’ve only added this to Bachmann cars. Easy to install and work perfectly.

I totally agree! I purchased this device for my Bachman Norfolk Southern Caboose, the wires are TOO SHORT to attach to the caboose! The unit works well, so dear manufacturer MAKE THE WIRES A BIT LONGER PLEASE!! and then I will give this five stars.
