Don't assume anything.
These traps are non baited, I had a fly problem for a couple of days, with at least 50 + total flies, and I hung these traps in the door ways hoping to capture them. The only way a fly will land on these are if they get tired mid air and need a place to rest. Unless a fly accidentally runs into the thin strip of sticky surface, they have little chance at capturing a fly.I had more luck killing the flies by hand with a karate chop than these traps did.My hand 50 these traps 0.I threw them in the trash a waste of money. I eventually had to have my landlord call an exterminator, trying to solve the problem myself wasn't going to work, especially if I was going to make assumptions based on the name of a product that these devices could actually trap a fly. While there is a possibility they could be come entrapped, I feel have a better chance of catching a fly with chopsticks like Mr. Miagi than I did with this product.

Sometimes the old ways are best
Had a housefly which snuck in while my window was open that I couldn’t kill with a flyswatter or a UV-electrical grid trap. Somehow it sensed the electrical trap was to be avoided and my hand-eye coordination just wasn’t fast enough to swat it. Drove me nuts for over a week until I got these old-school traps. Nailed the filthy little sucker in 24 hours!!! Boo-ya!!! Beware that you wear some disposable plastic gloves or be very, very careful when deploying this as the glue is unforgivingly sticky and getting it off anything you don’t want stuck to it will be an absolute beyotch. Don’t say you weren’t warned!

Break apart when unwinding.
Does not perform the same as name brand product. 1/3 of the units tore or broke off in the cylinder during deployment.

Fly repellant, maybe?
Not a single fly of the many who took up residence in my living room this autumn stuck to these strips. They were messy to open and hang, which was way too much effort for the lack of results.

Doesn't work
What more can I say, we have lots of flys and this product does not work... Well maybe it caught 3 or 4 flies

Doesn't work
The cardboard tube pulls off when I try to stretch out the fly tape and I get the sticky crap all over my fingers... every time!
