Small step.
Perfect size and weight to be moved to any chair where needed. Itβs sturdy, easy to fold and attractive. Great product for those, like me, who are height challenged.

Unstable
Legs collapsed. They do not stand straight. Dangerous product. Only wanted to use as foot rest and legs still collapsed.

Very nice, cute and functional
The craftsmanship of this footrest is really great. I guess it's made of wood. It has a polished look with shine. It's surprisingly light weight and small in size. When I carry it, the two side panels swing open, instead of staying at their folding position that I need to watch how I carry it without get my fingers being slapped on which hasn't happened yet. There is a middle piece underneath the main panel (can't be seen in the picture) that can be unfolded to keep the two side panels open and stay at their open position to make the footrest stand on the floor steadily.I used it at work. I wish it were a inch or two higher as I would like to sit with my laps not completely setting their weight on the chair that allows better blood circulation on my legs since I sit for long hours. I could have lowered my chair to accommodate the height of the footrest. But since I could not adjust my monitor any lower, by making the chair a little higher than usual, I don't have to raise my head to look up the screen (I prefer looking straight and down on the screen to looking up). But that is just my situation that perhaps this height of the footrest is enough for others. Or, perhaps the manufacture can consider making two different heights, 4" and 6".

Wife loves it; light weight, right height. A bit flimsy
My wife really likes this item. When sitting in a chair for a prolonged time, this keeps her feet up which in turn takes pressure off the back of her legs and she has much less swelling in her feet/ankles when she is working at her desk all morning. However, the wood is pretty thin, and the hinges are made of very thin sheet metal, about the thickness of the metal on a soup can (seriously). With less than gentle handling, these hinges easily deform; I've already had to reshape one of them after the item fell out of my hand while carrying it - I can forsee that all of them will need to be replaced with something a little sturdier. That won't be hard, but for $19 this should have included sturdier hinges. If the wood was about 50% thicker and the hinges were decent, $19 would be fair(ish), but for this quality it is overpriced. There are no alternatives that I can see on Amazon for now though.

Beautiful, quality construction, sturdy footrest
When our firstborn was old enough to wash her own hands, but not quite tall enough to reach the sink, my husband made her a smaller, simplified version of this out of pieces of 2x4 and a pair of hinges. After the last child outgrew the need for it, I started using it under my feet when I'm on the toilet; I've been using it now for over 40 years, and decided it was time to upgrade. This one is the perfect size and height for my needs, and has a beautiful glossy finish. For me, it's the perfect height to keep my legs from dangling (otherwise, my toes just rest on the floor), it's wide enough and long enough to let my feet move around a bit, and it has a crossbar to keep it from accidentally folding.I did have a little difficulty pulling up the crossbar the first time - it was stiff and a tight fit - but I suppose it would loosen up with use.I don't expect to ever fold it again anyway - my old one is going into my suitcase for travel!

Cute and perfect size but fragile.
I was looking forward to using this because it is just the height I need, and it's really cute!! But this arrived with a crack in the top and the braces for the "legs" are only tacked in. They separate from the upper piece when the cross bar stabilizer is turned down. I'm disappointed.

Smaller than it looks
In order to comfortable rest your feet while sitting, you need two of them otherwise its too small and you have to bend your knees inwards
