So I have reservations
2.20.2022.2020 HD Electra glide. Easy install and their tech support is awesome. Awesome awesome!!! If u watch their video it is very easy to install but I had to call anyway.. still awesome. Yes u can ride the bike to the location to get the radio flashed. It won't mess up the radio. Having said that. After it was flashed I played it loud (didn't do it when it wasn't flashed) . Def louder that stock. My stock radio at 80mph I couldn't hear it. This one I heard at, well MUCH faster than 80mph. Quality sound... decent. I was hoping for a little louder for $1,600. I may try to tweak the dials a little and see. Ps you will have to clamp the original HD wires (negative side I think) on each of the 4 speakers. HD has 1 large 1 small connector but R.F. has 2 same size. So u will have to use plyers and make the connector smaller to connect to the RF speaker (4x). Also if u have a HD 2020, good luck with the damn 2 bolts (when u know you will know) it wasn't fun but it is possible

Volume is there but sound quality is not
The volume is definitely louder than stock but the quality is pretty bad. Too much high and not enough low. Ear piercing past half volume. Installation wasn’t too difficult. Be prepared to spend about another $80 to Harley to flash the head unit. I spent a couple hours messing with the amp settings to boost the lows and dim down the highs but can’t go past about 70% on the volume and still doesn’t sound wonderful.

Well worth it!
You have to have your radio flashed - not all Harley dealerships can do this for RF. Not to mention, Harley will try to push you into buying their junk. RF website list installers that can perform the flash.Very HappyNeighbors - not so much.

Great Sound, easy install, worth the money!
Pretty easy install. YouTube video from RF took me step by step. Took about 2 hours for this novice. Sound quality is pretty good. Couple things to note: 1) when using Bluetooth, just turn your phone volume down a few notches and the distortion at high volume goes away! 2) not 100% sure I needed to pay the $50 to HD to flash my radio. I have a '14FLHTK that was already setup with 4 speakers and no amp. That is the exact flash RF recommends for this setup, so pretty sure I wasted $50 on the flash but I wasn't willing to risk damaging the rather expensive RF equipment. Is it worth it, yeah! When you remove the stock HD speakers and compare them to the RF speakers, you'll definitely know there's a MASSIVE quality difference. Plenty loud for passengers too. Wife couldn't hear the stock system at all at full volume on the highway. She can definitely hear this setup and we rarely turn it all the way up.

Good upgrade, reasonable install
I purchased this RF Stage 2 upgrade for my 2020 RG. The install I did myself, and while the printed instructions are awful, there is a YouTube video from RF which takes you through the install step by step. If you have reasonable mechanical skills, you can do this install. After the install, I visited the Harley dealer to get the required EQ flash for this to work properly. The sound was much clearer and loud. Bass is still minimal when traveling at speed, but that is the case with all upgrades. I'm happy with the sound. The only issue is that I have one speaker grill on the TourPak which keeps blowing off. Can't figure out why or what I can do. I'll call FR support soon to get their help.
