As drought-tolerant as can be, the ferny gray-green foliage of ‘Powis Castle, ’ is more upright than 'Silver Mound' at 2–3', and can even be clipped to form a low hedge. Tolerant of poor, sandy soil, the aromatic foliage only demands well-drained soil. Multi-talented Wormwood is gorgeous in the white garden, as foliage in a cut or dried arrangement, and shines next to dark-leafed perennials in the border or rock garden, or in a mass on its own. Plant 18” apart.
