Recent flood waters diverted
I didn't get photo's. When the storm system with tornado's in Oklahoma came our way we placed a line of these at the top of our driveway. In the past our garage has flooded because of water draining from the road down the driveway into our garage. With two 10ft and one 4ft dams the rain water was diverted and our garage didn't come close to flooding. These are very light and easy to deploy. Once filled with water they aren't too heavy and WILL stay in place. THE DOWN SIDE.... WHEN FILLED WITH WATER THEY WILL BURST IF A CAR IS DRIVEN OVER THEM. UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO REPAIR THEM THEY ARE NOT REUSABLE AFTER BEING BURST OPEN!! Be sure to move them out of the way for vehicles!!These are great to keep handy and I see they are much less expensive in 2024 than when I purchased mine in 2022. I'm glad I made these a part of my home emergency equipment. They work!!

Great for one emergency use, but no reuse.
Pro: It did the job intended to reduce a flood when used brand new.Cons: It never dried out enough to be reused. So, if your goal is to use it once in an emergency, it is a 4 or 5 star product. But you may have to buy more to be ready for the next time.

Not what I expected
These quick dams have a guey substance that seeps thru after they get wet and they take forever to dry out, I would rather waste my time with sand bags then to have to deal with cleaning up this slimy gue, I have had these trying to dry out since hurricane idalia and they are still wet, swollen and guey!

Useless
Totally useless. Water goes right over them. Get the black dams by the same company. Avoid anything that says "barrier" in the tube-like packaging.

this is the best quickdam product on the market
I live in Florida. I have No water damage after tropical storm Ian. My neighbors all around me have water damaged belongings stacked for trash crews, but I dont. Even tho my house is 98 yrs old and has 7 points of entry, several below grade. When the storm is coming I lay them out & spray them with a hose & go back to watching tv while those around me act like the sky is falling. Preparation & prevention is EASY. Losing everything you own isnt; These store neatly and stable for use. I buy in bulk at the beginning of storm season & whatever is left over I use next time. After the storm, I dolly them to the driveway & they deflate in the sun on a warm hard surface. Small price to pay to live in Paradise!

Work well, but take forever to dry
These work really well to soak up water. They may be reuseable, but once they are soaked through, the take forever to dry: as in more than a week! And, unless you have a place to lay them out outside where there's plenty of fresh air and sufficient heat to dry them out, they will begin to smell musty and mildewy.

Size
Product is very small. I hope it really puffs up a lot or it is not really functional. But will not try it till I need it because of the expense.
