Not any thicker then a plastic or fiberglass pan. Make sure you cover every edge with cardboard to protect it as it chips really easy. Only good thing is you can sand the chips smooth.

The first one we received was damaged, but the company replaced it quickly without any problems. It was easy to return the damaged one thru Amazon. That said, our contractor found this when we were remodeling our shower. It has been a great shower base and it's been easy to clean too. The floor is textured so we haven't had any problems with slipping. I was a little leery of ordering something like this online, but I've recommended it to several other people who asked me what we purchased for the shower. The contractor really liked it too.

Very disappointed in the look of this Swanstone Veritek product. Product was delivered in a box with very little protection - Styrofoam on corners only. There was a hole in the middle of the box and damage to the underside.We wanted to stay away from a grouted tile shower floor and chose to look at all-in-one bases. When speaking with a Swanstone Manufacturers Rep we were convinced we did not need to go with the higher priced Swanstone granite base and would see no difference in the Veritek version. "Same mold, less costly materials, same look". We always valued the Swanstone products and use them in our kitchen.Next time we will purchase the higher end products.

product was chipped despite intact packaging. Because of timeline installation dates, elected not to return it but have have a bathtub refinisher fix the spots. Cost $105.

Love it. I had to have a 54 in. They are hard to find. This was perfect. Shipping is different it must be inspected before left. But worth it.

I purchased this pan 11/1/2011 for hallway bathroom remodel, This certainly beats trying to put down a liner and the mess that goes with it, and then wonder if it would leak down the road, so with that said, I made sure the floor was level, drain cutout, and the spacing per easy instructions, bonded it to the floor with construction adhesive, waited 2 days and finished the shower stall with 12 x 12 x 3/8 gray swirl marble tile to the ceiling from floor & Decor, ad a custon made brushed nickel bypass shower door and Wala, What a Great looking bathroom, my next project will be the Master bath and I will try a larger version of this in the near future.

Have been using for several years now and still looks new.

I was very lucky to find a shower pan to fit the required space. The pan has a low threshold which I preferred. The bottom of the pan is really nice adding traction. The installation was easy. I would definately recommend this product which is at good price.
