The seller really should put a picture showing all the colors. I missed the part about it being a random color, and I received a pink one.The product works well though, and it is very loud. You have to wind it up by rotating it fully in one direction and then rotating it back to the time you need it to be. It makes a ticking sound the whole time it counts down though, which I find super annoying, so I won't actually be using this product.

Actually, I finally figured out if you turn it all the way to 60 minutes and then turn it back to the time you really want, it makes a little sound when the time is up. I set the time and then move the timer to wherever I am in my home so I will hear the timer end and not miss the sound.I thought and hoped it would make a sound when the time was up, but it just quietly stops ticking. If you buy this, you may want to think about being near it when the time is up so what you are cooking or baking doesn't burn.

This is the second one I have gotten. I wore the first out after 5 years of daily use. The price is good, and worth getting.

My hubby got this for me for Christmas one year and then he got me 2 more for when I am cooking various things at the same time. I just love it ... very accurate and now that my hearing is not as great as it used to be, it helps to have timers that I can actually still hear well!

Cute but doesnt work

I use this in my classroom, to let the kids know when an activity is over (e.g. 10 more minutes of playtime). It works great, and they love it. One of my students told me she's going to ask Santa for a chicken timer.
