If you have hardwood floors this is the style pad you want, the bottom portion is rubber. Most pads are made out of PVC products, which leave behind checkered marks and scratches on hardwood floor finishes. PVC has many great applications, just not on hardwood floors. Rubber is more costly, however having to refinish a hardwood floor because you used a PVC made pad is really expensive.Most home stores sell solely the PVC style, so I was pleased to locate this on amazon. The pad gives a nice cushion, with a solid no slip hold. Plus no damage, checker marks or scratches on my oak floor. If you have hardwood floors I highly suggest this mat. Yes it will cost more than a PVC style one, but is well worth it. Just clean the area of the floor before installing.

Using this product to keep cotton rug from slipping on tile floor. It is thick so gives a bit of cushion, does not bunch up, and keeps rug in place. Easy to trim. Very happy with product.

The perfect thickness for comfort walking barefoot but not thick enough to show under the rug.The only stipulation I have was the one we got, had a weird slip in the middle of it. Almost like 2 pieces were sewed together so I was worried you could see the lump. You can’t see it but you can feel it when you’re barefoot on the rug. The nonslip bottom is great too. Never moves around.Very happy with it other than that! It’s nice Amazon recommended the right size for the rug I added to my cart.

A lot of rugs from big box stores are bone-thin and give no extra comfort. Adding this thin rug pad helped keep it in-place, and adds just enough cushion to make the rug feel thicker and higher quality without changing the overall height of your rug noticeably. My office chair still rolls across it nicely. This won’t make it feel like you’re walking on padded carpet, but it will elevate your rug and make it much nicer underfoot.Note: it does make our rug a little annoying to vacuum, as the rug folds back when you pull the vacuum back—but that’s likely due to the rug itself. I could add some command hooks or fabric tape to the rug and it would probably solve it.

I mean you really can’t beat the price on this thing. I took an iron on the wool setting and ironed out all the wrinkles after letting it sit unwrapped for a bit and it did the trick! I was really worried about having to cut the padding but there was only a little bit I had to trim off on two sides and it was incredibly easy! I set the rug on top of it and had it fit two of the sides perfectly so I only have to trim two sides. The comfort of stepping on it for 1/8 is nice for the space I used it in. I’ll probably go thicker for my 2 year old daughters room though for more comfort. But I’m so happy I went with this brand. The grip works really underneath and I’ve no problems with it moving so far!

I gave this 3 stars.It would have been 5 stars if not for this weird seam that runs along the length of the rug pad, not even in the middle but about 3/4 along the depth of the rug. It doesn’t matter for my rug because the seam is hidden by the rug pattern, but it’s a very weird flaw. I would have exchanged the rug pad if it wasn’t such a hassle.With that said, the rug pad is otherwise great! The thickness is perfect and the bottom is grippy but not sticky. It’s still solid and easy to maneuver around the floor and with the rug, so positioning is easy as it can be. I do recommend the product for those reasons!

Keeps the rug in place, not slip, helps with noise and fits the rug size to a tee!

I probably should have read more of the reviews before buying this. I got the 6x9’ size and it has a bulky, noticeable seam down the middle. I’ve bought at least a dozen rug pads in my life and never seen anything like this. Who wants a lump in their rug? So strange. Luckily, the seam wasn’t right in middle, so I was able to position the rug pad with the seam on the side it would be less noticeable. I could have returned this, but other than the seam, it’s a decent rug pad at a good price. I like that it isn’t so oversized compared to many brands. My rug is exactly 6x9’ and usually I expect to have to do a lot of awkward trimming, but not with this pad. The fit was perfect.

Vacuuming over the rug will not budge. Walking over it, etc. you would need to pick up the rug to move it. I would buy this rug pad for all my rugs. I have two.

Could have been an inch or two wider and longer. It didn’t quite fit a standard size rug.

Works perfectly fine for my needs. I had to cut it to size and didnt have any issues with cutting it.

This is great under a rug. It adds cushion and stops slipping completely. I plan to put one under each of my rugs.
