Quality Matte Photo Paper for Crafters
I’ve been really happy with this matte photo paper. The image quality is excellent, vivid, rich colors that look dramatically better than printing on regular copy paper or card stock. Just be sure to print on the correct side, one side is a brighter white and the other is more yellow, which makes it easy to tell which side is meant for printing. I primarily use this cardstock to print images for my handmade greeting cards, and it works beautifully for that purpose. I’ve also used it to print family photos with great results. I’ve tried other matte photo papers before, but I often had issues with the printed finish scratching off too easily. That hasn’t been a problem at all with this paper, which is why I keep coming back to it. Highly recommend if you want durable prints with great color and quality.

Very good paper
This paper is extremely good for printing images that don't require a glossy look to them. -- I print reproduction art that i have drawn over the years, and the paper's matte quality blows the regular photo paper i use out of the water. I will say, it does take time to get used to the paper's single sided quality. (The brightest side of the paper is the printable matte side, and the back side is an off-white/beige (This side is printable, but will be very muted and mottled) -- (The best way to tell if you have the paper facing the right way, is to take 2 pages and flip one around; look to see which side of the paper is the brightest. ... Or print and find out...) Before you start printing, you may want to adjust your printer's settings to get the best results for the paper. You can normally do this by printing an image on the paper, then gauging if you need to make it darker or lighter or tweak any other options you have. *Important side note: The setting(s) below may require more ink to be used, and will be slow to print* ( Printing with the printer's "Media Type: Photopapers> Matte Photo Paper *Print Quality: Standard*) - Or equivalent setting will improve the image quality a lot, This setting basically tells the printer to add more ink to the paper than normal because of the paper type (ink will soak into the page, where as with glossy photo paper, the ink "sits" on top of the page, so glossy photo paper doesn't need as much ink) Print speed will be slow with this setting as the printer will print in tighter lines (good results do take time) - I wouldn't change the print quality from standard, though; as if you print in "High" it just takes more time to print and doesn't look any different. - ( I wouldn't use this print setting on the backside of the paper however, it will print too dark and it won't look as good, so print with the regular "Media Type: Plain Paper" setting if you're printing on the back of the paper.) (I tend to print darker, deep rich shades of color with this paper. I use a word processor (WPS); for all of the printing i do.) I do plan on purchasing more in the future, the price is fabulous, and the quality is great

Great! But not really photo paper
Been looking to start making art prints at home and it seems I've found the perfect starter paper! I'm printing on a Canon Pixma G6000, and have found that I only need to make very slight color adjustments based on what I'm printing. Quality seems great, and is the perfect weight I'm looking for (a little sturdier than regular printer paper). I will, however, agree with the comments that this isn't really photo paper. I got this looking to make art prints, and would definitely recommend it for that- especially if this is your first go-around and are looking for an affordable option. But I cannot imagine using this if you're seeking out high quality PHOTO prints. This paper is definitely more suitable for art prints or various crafting projects. Also DO NOT FORGET THAT THIS HAS NON-PRINTABLE INSERTS ON BOTH ENDS OF THE STACK. I had read reviews before purchasing that said this and still forgot, and it had me feeling crazy that my quality was bad and that the ink was bleeding/smudging like crazy ha. If you open the pack from the back side with the open tab, the front side will be facing down. The differences between sides are nearly imperceptible as others have said, but I find bending the paper and looking at it in a good light can help. The back side will appear to have more visual "texture" than the front, which is a completely smooth, clean white.

Great Quality for Everyday Printing Needs
I recently purchased the Canon 7981A004 Photo Paper Plus, and overall, I’m quite pleased with its performance. The matte finish provides a professional look to my prints, and the colors come out vibrant and true to life. The paper is slightly heavier than standard photo paper, which adds a nice touch of durability without being too thick. One of the standout features is how well it handles ink. The prints dry quickly, and there’s no smudging, which is a big plus for me. I’ve used it for various projects, including photo albums and craft projects, and it has consistently delivered good results. However, I did notice that the paper can sometimes feel a bit like lightweight cardstock rather than traditional photo paper. This isn’t a major issue, but it’s something to keep in mind depending on your specific needs. For high-gloss, ultra-crisp photo prints, you might want to consider a different option. Overall, this photo paper is a solid choice for everyday printing needs, offering good quality at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for reliable matte photo paper.Thank

I’m very happy with this Photo Paper Plus. It has a thick, sturdy weight that feels more like cardboard than standard paper. Despite the thickness, I had no issues getting it through my printer; it fed perfectly. Just a reminder that it is fully matte with no gloss, which provides a great professional look without the glare. Highly recommended!

Almost can't tell which side is the print-side. Both sides equally matte. The matte is not photographic grade matte, but paper cardboard kind of matte. Too rough for my liking but it holds colour well. For school projects ok. Not for photographic enthusiasts.

Nice paper. Gives almost same Adobe RGB output from what you look in the computer screen.
