When I first opened my gift and could not fit it to my Kimber 1911 because I was reluctant to use much force I decided to return it because it would not fit. I was really disappointed! After looking at the advertisement photo in Amazon I decided to try again and took it out of the return box. Upon applying more force than I usually do it fit and I was able to completely assemble this laser sight. I am very pleased with its operation an am a bit embarrassed for having indicated in Amazon that I was going to return it.It is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

I Love This Laser On My 1911 Ruger Sr. I Have Not Been To The Range Yet To Test The Accuracy Etc. But Just The Fact That It’s Touch Activated Is Cool. No Buttons To Press, Just Touch The Sense Pad When You Grip Ya Firearm And It Activates. Very Nice !

Occasionally a mistake/problem can raise a review. This was the case for me this time. I had ordered the product however received pieces that didn't match. There was a postcard with the order advising to contact them directly if there was an issue. That is exactly what I did. They were very friendly and extremely responsive. Got the replacement part very quickly, not questions asked. While it was slightly annoying to get a wrong part, the fact they just fixed the problem without any hassle counts for a lot in my book. In terms of the product itself: I found it easy to install, calibration with the included Allen key was a breeze. Seems very tightly secured, have not needed to readjust it yet. I'm happy with it.

This is a great laser. Very bright, even in daylight. Only two possible issues: 1. It won't work if you are wearing gloves, since the switch depends on contact through the skin of your finger. 2. If you install it on a bedside gun, and something goes "bump" in the night, when you grab the gun the bright laser is going to come on. You might not want this to happen until you see what the cause of the "bump" was.

The TRS25G ArmaLaser Green Laser was very difficult to install on a Colt 1911A1 ("1943 Army Surplus") pistol, the rear part of the sight with the two gold sensors that is at the back/bottom of the sight is a fraction of a millimeter too long. This was not easily fitted to the trigger guard. After a great deal of pushing, the rear part of the sight mated to the trigger guard. I was greatly concerned that when I screwed the "right side" part of the assembly with the battery cover that the screws would strip - they did not. It took about 50 minutes to install; while the installation of a TR9 ArmaLaser sight took less than eight minutes.The sight required substantial adjustment, in relation to the iron sights it was low and to the right. The TR9 ArmaLaser required a very small vertical (up) tweak to be properly sighted.The sight is well made and is now in use.

I put this on my Remington 1911 R1 and so far it works great. At 15 yards you can watch the holes appear in the target where the laser dot is. the touch activation workes great you can draw your gun and the laser turns on without pushing any buttons. This will require some adjustment from the use. it did require some adjustment, I used a bore sighter to line it up at 15 yards and shot 150 rounds and it stayed right on. would recommend.
