This is a really great quality upgrade - especially for the price. I found it a bit tedious to install - mostly because my buttons did not come out easily (on my key they are a rubber cover with a plastic liner). Once I had that figured out, installation was very simple. Take your time and follow the instructions (there are plenty of YouTube videos) and your upgraded key will look great!

Porsche key plastic seems more durable than my last one. While the size and fit are perfect, it feels stronger than my previous key plastics.I really like that it included the center plastic, not just the two sides. It makes the key look just like the car without the silver center insert.The part arrived in a cool metal box and was lined. Pretty cool but you just throw the box away...The best part was the product video to install on my key. There are probably a few ways to install the plastics but if you watch the video, it will fit perfect.

The pieces are of poor quality and break easily. They do not fit perfectly. Don't buy this fake keychain. It is expensive and much better to buy the original from Porsche.

Go onto a Porsche configurator and take the option of keys in exterior color if you want to appreciate how great this price is. The parts came in a display box and took me all of 120 seconds to put on. They fit perfectly and look great. Really exceeded all expectations. OEM quality.

Update: I ordered this kit for my second key, with the same fit issue with the center piece. The nose of the piece, just above the Porsche crest, won't lock into place. This may not be the case with other colors, but it is now two out of two on the red color on two separate keys. So, the chrome bit is back in place like the attached photo. It looks fine, but too bad the red piece doesn't fit.This is a great way to color coordinate your key with the vehicle (in my case a 911). The installation was easy with one exception. The center portion, chrome on the original key, would not snap into place. The tolerances must be very tight, but in my case it wouldn't fit.The key looks great with the red on the sides and the chrome center piece, so I definitely kept it (check the photo). In fact, I'll order this kit for the second key. This totally beats the option on Porsche sites of a major outlay of money for what appears to be the same thing.Is it durable? I can't say, hence the four stars for durability. This vehicle is garaged all winter, and not driven all that much in the other seasons. But I will certainly keep my eye on the portion that inserts into the ignition and see if it looks to be wearing prematurely. Either way, I'll update this post as warranted.

This makes the key fob broke really good. Anyone who seen it really like it. I don’t even tell him it’s aftermarket.

Amazon truly has to stop allowing so much junk in their marketplace. This arrived in a damaged box with the paint chipped. Returning.
