The Nix Pro Color Sensor's patented shape blocks out all ambient light for a perfect color match every time in any lighting condition. Q: Does it give you a Pantone color number?

Currently, there is no native Pantone library in the Nix Pro app. The Nix Pro is a powerful tool and gives you all the info you need to quickly find a Pantone match though. Here are three easy methods: 1. Convert your digital data LAB to Pantone in 6 steps using Photoshop: https://nixsensor.com/blog/six-simple-steps-to-convert-lab-to-pantone/2. Use the LAB, XYZ, HEX values etc. values in an online color converting tool to get the closest Pantone Match. Here is one for example: http://rgb.to/rgb/124,87,753. Q: How large does a surface does this scan?

Hi Julie,The Nix Pro's aperture is ~15mm. You would want to make sure whatever you are scanning completely covers the aperture as this helps to isolate the color and avoid any light leaking in.
