Description

Made from 2 mil thick aluminum foil. Tags are both durable and affordable. FoilGuard tags have 1.7 mils of 3M 320 adhesive and stick well to both smooth metal and many flat, non-textured plastic surfaces. Annealing gives these tags extra flexibility. They're semi-debossable or hand engravable - you can write on them with a pen or pencil. Conformable and great for large radius curved surfaces. Printed in high resolution using high speed / industrial laser printers and toners for light-duty applications. FoilGuard labels might have some slight discoloration in designs that use large areas of color or suffer from fading due to abrasive materials wearing away the ink. To ensure that your asset tag bonds and functions correctly on the applied surface, it is highly recommended that the application surface is clean and flat or non-textured. Dirty surfaces reduce your adhesion by 40%, making cleaning an integral part of the prepping process to guarantee functionality.
