No more bouncing off the seats
I bought a used suburban and have been fixing all the little issues with it. I thought I was done until we had the truck full of people one evening. Every time I hit a bump the passengers in the third row would bounce off the seat. The ride felt perfectly smooth in the front seats so I started looking for rear shocks. OEM premium smooth ride shocks came in so just under $1000 bucks. Way more then I was willing to put into a 23 year old car. After researching a bit I found lots of good comments on these so I decided to try them. Well for the price you can't go wrong. The back end is solid now and it lifted the rear about an inch. No more bouncing and my passengers are happy. I'm sure you can find smoother more comfortable shocks but you will certainly pay more too.

Did notice my vehicle more bouncy
Jumped my tahoe and snapped the shocks in half so I bought these as a quick fix until I put on my lift kit. I have been driving with these for 2 weeks now and I do notice the back end is more bouncy on bumps at slow speeds. At highway speeds, it is not noticable. These shocks did not raise the backend or lower it. Not sure if the spings help in anyway since they can be compressed with your hands, they might be just for looks. These shocks do have a larger diameter rod compared to the stock versions. Overall these shocks were great for the price and they serve their purpose very well.

Heavy duty
Super heavy duty shocks that really lift and support rear of my '02 suburban. It gives added support when pulling an equipment trailer.Great product!

2005 Tahoe great fit
On my 2005 Chevy Tahoe they worked better than expected. They're a little more expensive than oem shocks, but worth it. Install was easy. I thought they might affect the ride quality, but the ride is smooth over bumps, and I don't notice any difference in the handling from stock.
