How can I even describe how joyful I was at receiving this collection? After a disastrous move in which my entire collection of demitasse cups went missing (and was never found), I had given up my hobby of collecting porcelain. But I saw this teacup collection on Pinterest, and was instantly smitten. These are full-sized cups and saucers, and oh, so beautiful!The box was almost as good as the cups: A hatbox arrangement, which each cup and saucer carefully packed. I didn't want to remove the cups! Now, all five teacups are on display in my china cabinet, and I can't wait to get the next set in the series. These are 1950 to 2000; I'm looking forward to 1900-1950!!!

Spectacular
Both this set and the 1900 - 1940 set of teacups are breathtaking. They are works of art. When either used with guests or just tea after dinner, they turn any occasion into a special one. I thought they looked nice in the pictures on Amazon but they look even better in person.Both series of cups do vary in price a lot over time so I suggest you time your purchase carefully.The cups and saucers come in a beautiful round box, which makes a great impression all on its own. They would make a really nice gift for someone who appreciates such things.

Well I'm sure the product would be awesome if I could get it intact
Well I'm sure the product would be awesome if I could get it intact. I've ordered this 2x now and both times one of the plates has been cracked in half. The delivery box has NO fragile markings and VERY little in the way of insulation. Both times the box it arrived in has been severely damaged when it arrived.It seems to me that common sense would call for some indication of fragile on a product made of bone china or at the VERY least more insulation.As frustrated as I am, I would still LOVE to have this set. So I guess I'm going to try ordering again (but maybe with a different seller this time). Worth it to pay more if I think I won't have to go through the trouble of ANOTHER return. Ugh.

Two cups arrived damaged...
I like to use the Royal Albert items... But, when I began unpacking the items, two teacups was broken in many pieces. I was so disappointed because I was expecting to use these teacups.... :(

The 100 Years of Royal Albert Teacups & Saucers Set 1950-1990 arrive in a beautiful presentation hatbox. The patterns are beautiful, the colors are vivid and the 22K gold rim adds a touch of class.The cups have beautiful designs gracing inside as well as the outside of the cups.These are made in Indonesia, but this information is not printed on the cups or the saucers. There's a lone sticker on the presentation box that describes the country of origin.Each cup and saucer is inscribed on the bottom as follows:Bone chinaRoyal AlbertPattern name100 years/Royal Albert

Great for wedding gift.
My wife bought this for a wedding gift for her friend..Nice set of china.. but one of the cupt was delivered with a small crack.. so had to send it back.Amazon is great with replacing items quick~
