This tool solved our cable insulation stripping problem. I was impressed how the tool cuts in two directions, circumferentially and longitudinally.

Fantastic. Consistent, easy to adjust and has a replaceable blade. Used it on a lot of sojw for 480v extension cords and it's performed perfect.

This is not a quick use tool. It does the job. It does take about 15-20 turns while slightly adjusting the blade. It will not cut all the way through but you can bend the wire jacket and pull it off. It’s better than using strippers. You risk cutting the inner wires being to fast with strippers.

Broke it the first day, would work well for someone in the telecom industry or where you are only wanting to strip a short length of sheathing.

I like the way I cut the cable

This tool is fairly awesome, actually it’s a great tool. The only thing I don’t like is how the blade rotates around freely. That being said it strips insulation off of multi wire SO cord with ease and is such a much better solution to using knives and such.

I was out of town and was not able to open it for about a month. When I opened it and tried to remove the jacket of a wire, it didn't work even a single time. The little blade that they have inside is so low quality, it just gets bent instead of cutting the sleeve. I made a mistake by thinking "Made in Germany" would be better than "Made in China". The return window is also closed. Really regret this purchase.
