Made well, no leaks a little pricey, but worth it would recommend made the plumbing job easy To install

I paid hundreds for a plumber to fix the old saddle valve water line for our new refrigerator and he only replaced the water line and left the valve in place which didn’t fix anything for us. I watched a few YouTube videos and bought this part and a pipe cutter and told my husband that I was gonna do it myself. He surprised me by watching a YouTube video and doing it before I could. He made some mistakes that I wouldn’t have, but it got done and we can finally use our fancy new ice maker.

The price is really high, which means they have a good patent. But their product makes life much easier, and saved me a ton of time. So I won’t ding them for the price.

SharkBite is always my go to when I need to repair water pipe. For a snug and easy to install. They are great under pressure and will not let go. Durable and quality made. They are a little expensive but well worth the money.

We have a fairly new build but decided not to install a whole house humidifier when we built. We have Pex throughout the house and needed a solution to connect the humidifier to a water connection. I used both the 3/4" and 1/2" SharkBite connectors to hook up two furnaces. I did buy a Pex cutter at a local bigbox store to make very precise and clean cuts. the Pex went into the connectors very easily. The important thing to remember is to make certain that one pushes the Pex all of the way into the SharkBite connectors otherwise water will leak. One will feel the Pex seat itself once it is initially placed into the connector and after pushing the Pex until it stops. It's been several hours now and no leaks. We are ready for the furnace folks to install the humidifiers in a few days using the connectors and the 1/4" compression fitting.

It was very easy to install. I installed a water line for a new refrigerator. No problems.

Installation instructions are clear a concise, installation was straightforward, water line connections were simple, no leaks after months of usage. Very pleased with these connectors.

This Shark Bite valve is made of very high quality materials and it performs flawlessly!

Compared to a solder type fitting of the same type this is not a cheap option. But the fact that you simply push this onto pex or copper piping and your done is a no brainer. There's no reason to believe that these units won't last just as long as those solder units either. And the swing valve is almost guaranteed not to leak unlike the built to fail screw valve style of fittings. Its just all around a good investment for long term piece of mind.

Does the job and does the job well.

Used to connect my home water line to a rodi water filter via 1/4 inch line. Took all of 5 mins to install and been using for over 6 months with no leaks. Very happy with the product as it was hard to find even at larger stores like home depot, Lowe's etc
