The media could not be loaded.  I love how simple the lamp is. It was a bit of a bummer that it didn’t come with at least 1 light bulb but I was able to find one around the house so I wasn’t too upset. I originally purchased this for my kitchen as I’m going for a slow living vibe but thought it was adorable in my room instead. I like to put this lamp on as I do yoga at night. It doesn’t illuminate my whole room (I have a very large room) but it provides a nice ambiance!

I actually ordered this lamp thinking it was MUCH bigger than what it was. However, I came to find out that it served as the perfect night light for my little ones room. It gives off the perfect dim glow that really is great for bedtime!

Works fairly well on shelf on wall above kitchen sink and is economical. Seems a little bit green-gray, rather than straight gray, but that actually worked out better in this situation. It would probably be better to have a lamp that does not have light coming out of the top and illuminating the boring blank wall and ceiling above, but can't afford it right now. Overall, works somewhat well to illuminate wall art on shelf and bring some warmth to the otherwise unlit area. (I have a larger lamp to the right side of sink and I don't use the ugly fluorescent light fixture located on the ceiling.) You do have to non-standard light bulbs for it, but that is not really a hassle.

I didn't realize how small. My fault.You can go buy the special light bulb at a store like I did. Because on Amazon the bulbs that fit this are at least nine dollars. Plus shipping. I got one at the store for three dollars. The bulb sticks up above the lamp shade. I need a shorter e1240w bulb. So it's a pretty cute lamp. It looks nice. It works. Very small. Specific expensive bulb needed not a regular light bulb. I gave five stars because I would have figured this out if I read further down the description.It's inexpensive until you buy the bulb that costs as much as the lamp. Then I guess it's still inexpensive unless you're poor like me.

Just what I needed

First off yes, it is TINY. It won’t light up an entire room. It wouldn’t be good for a desk to do your work. It is great for an accent lamp or a small bedside table which is what I got it for. It is compact for moving.I chose a GE Lighting 22239 Energy-Smart LED 4.5-watt, 350-Lumen light bulb to use with it. Found it here on Amazon for a pretty decent price.Yes, the bulb extends a bit over the top of the cover. This could be a bad thing if you need to reach over the lamp to turn it off or reach over it in general. I tend not to mind as the bulb I chose doesn’t burn hot at all. I found this out by accident when the lamp fell over and I accidentally touched the bulb. At that point it hadn’t been on that long.I purposely left it on for over eight (8) hours, and wrapped the palm of my hand over the light bulb. Not cold, but not hot. It was “lukewarm” – like tap water. So, with regard to the lamp burning hot – with the bulb I got – it doesn’t. If it does, I would also look at the wiring and outlet. Again, this is my personal experience with this type of lamp and bulb combination.The switch is awkwardly placed. I do have to position the cord carefully around to access it. This works because I do have a small area where the lamp is so that isn’t too much of an issue.It is lightweight so moving it isn’t too much work or hassle.It isn’t too bad of a lamp for the price.

Cute little lamp, needs a special bulb that was easily available. I use it as a night lamp and it’s on all night but doesn’t heat up, which is treat.
