amazon basics Cat Litter Box Mat - 24 x 35 Inches, Grey

Pretty good buy. Not easy to clean, with smaller food particles going in. So we lay a paper on it when our dog feeds. It's a pretty large size and helps keep the spills in place. Very happy with the buy.

The product quality is good like most amazonbasics products. It does help trap the litter. Being a bit of a neat freak, earlier I used to sweep up stray litter from the floor every couple hours, but now I do it once or twice a day. Yes, some litter does get stuck inside. The trick is to turn it upside down, lay it flat on the floor and tap it so that the litter beads fall off.However, if your cat gets a hang of scratching it, they will ruin it. My can did it a couple times from underneath but I discouraged that behaviour just like how I discouraged her from digging the litter too much at a young age. So she usually keeps the litter area clean.However, it it not worth the price. You can get one of those green coarse plastic mat used in cars for much cheaper and it will perform in a similar manner.

It does what it says so but no strong enough to sustain cat tears . My cat has already chewed different parts of the mat

Updated after 2 months of use : the Mat has still survived. My cat hasn't attacked it yet. It doesnt seem to trap all the litter though; may be due to the actual litter that I'm using. Ive added a picture to show the actual size. The bottomline: its durable and works! Go for it!!The product is as advertised. The mat seems durable. Usually plastic items have a particular odor however this product was odorless and came in a good packaging. My cats super destructive however she hasn't yet attacked this mat. Seems durable.

These are nice and large and look smart in the house. I replaced mine after about 6 months because the cats do get their little nails into it and scratch it but they work well at keeping the litter balls mostly contained
