Awesome puzzle for 4, 5, 6 year olds.
Puzzles are the virtually the only quiet time activity I can get my loud and larger than life son to sit down and do. So, I knew Ravensburger made quality puzzles, but I had yet to purchase one, and I was not disappointed. The cardboard these are printed on is heavy and thick. I am not afraid that the pieces will become bent easily from my son's heavy handedness. Obviously, watch around water! The pieces fit and snap together wonderfully. There were no instances of "I know this piece goes here, but it just won't go in!" For my five year-old, the pieces were cut in such a way that my son could see the pictures clearly, organize, and assemble the puzzle without frustration. It still took him time to put it together with some assistance from me, but he never got bored or angry at not being able to figure out sections of the puzzle. The colors of the picture on the puzzle were just as vibrant as the box. The high quality of this product means that I will be purchasing more in the future.

Perfect young child puzzle
My 4 year old loves trains and helping with my 500-1000 piece puzzles so I bought him his own. Perfect size and complexity. Cute picture. I’d recommend.

An instant favorite with my son who just turned 4 and has developed a great interest in puzzles over the past year. He started doing 5+ level puzzles a few months ago. He loves playing with trains (Thomas and Chuggington are his favorite) so this train station puzzle is now one of his top picks when he is doing puzzles. Some other brand puzzles we have bought do not withstand frequent use and the pieces get bent or even torn up, not the Ravensburger puzzles. These are quality puzzles, the colors are vivid, the pieces are sturdy and we hope to pass down to little sister and then other younger relatives.

Like the detail
I got it to challenge my 3yo as he likes trains and might be interested in putting the picture together.Though we work on it together (I'm there more for the company & occasional hmm's and "really? you think it fits here?"), he was able to put the puzzle together relatively quickly for his age. And because of its size and subject, it keeps being worked on with a break in a day or seven.Overall, the puzzle is sturdy carton - well, it's not made of wood, so it WILL bend if someone's trying to fold it. The connections are not identical like in some other puzzles, they fit in the places where they're supposed to be.I like the detail and clarity of the cover picture - makes it easier to look for a "person in orange suit" or "piece with the clocks on it" - no need for magnifying glass either.

Fun puzzle but loosely locking pieces.
Fun image and piece size for my three-year-old! My six-year-old can put it together in like a few minutes flat. My one complaint is that the pieces don’t lock into each other so they can kind of get jiggled out of place just by putting out a puzzle pieces in.

Lovely details, finish and engages the child
I bought this for my soon to be 3 year old son. I decided to go with something little more complex since he finishes puzzles for his age so quickly that they don't engage really. Like other reviewers have mentioned this is challenging enough to keep the child occupied. I sit with him while he solves it and talk through parts he gets stuck at. It also makes for an interesting discussion of all the goings on in a train station.

Nice size and clear pieces for my 98 year old Mom.
This puzzle has nice size pieces and they are clear and colorful. They are sturdy and work great for my Mom who is 98 and losing more of her thought process each day. A time saver for me having to try and find something to occupy her mind each day.

Colorful, sturdy & fun
Our grandsons put this together the moment it arrived at their house. And then they took it apart & did it again. They love trains & puzzles so this was perfect. Colorful, sturdy & fun.
