Complete Replacement Carpet Kit Black (Suits MG MGB Roadster)

For less than $200, this carpet set is a great value. Overall the carpet looks good and was cut properly to fit my 78 MGB. Installed fairly easily with some adhesive being needed for some pieces. Easy to cut holes for seat belt bolts and shifter. Would purchase again.

The carpets themselves were great. A few snips on the wheel arch covers and they contour perfectly. Nice trim work on exposed sections. I would have appreciated a bit of extra carpet, since what they use is hard to match and there's always something that doesn't quite work right. In my case, it was the transmission hump, which had been modified for a different transmission. Just a couple of square feet would have made me a happier camper.Installation tip: big rare earth magnets. They hold glued parts in place perfectly.

Mid grade carpet, all parts are there, bends and folds well into place. Seam edging on the pieces that are seen. You cut your own holes for all bolts. Nice deep black. Very good for the price. Emplaced with a gallon of water based adhesive glue and paint brush, takes 3 days to do correctly....do verticals first and let dry for a day then move to other parts. Remember to re-emplace seatbelt buzzer wires under carpet. Weight with sand bags as needed to conform hard angles. I underlined all floor pans with new rustoliem paint, rhino liner, foam pad, then overlaid carpet. Once done, go buy your self some carpet floor mats so you don't abuse the foot wells on this new carpet. Should last a life time.

Excellent quality set, save the tunnel covers if you have them they are not included in the set. The carpets fit great and feel great. Order sound deader to make the set top notch.

Wheel arches were terrible and compared to other kits I’ve seen, this one requires more work. Other kits the cut out for the shifter is already in place. They did allow for excess carpet to cover everything but also makes it harder to get it to lay level. I’m happy with the product at the quality of it. Just not so much at the difficulty of laying it.

These are undoubtably some of the best carpet pieces you could buy for the MGB. Very high quality carpet, of the same quality as found in newer german cars. All the pieces fit and installed easily by following the instructions provided. Of note, my kit did not include ths 'starter cover' piece which was molded rubber in the OEM specs. Ask the seller if this piece is available in matching materials and color.
