This thing is absolutely exceptional in every way. Not just the machine, but Sage's aftercare and approach to you as a Barista, not just someone buying a coffee machine.Firstly, the machine. I was a long time Nespresso machine owner since 2013, must have tried 3 or 4 machines in that time, loved one particular pod, but they changed the recipe and it wasn't the same. Plus I found the machines kept having to go in for servicing and once the warranty ran out, there was no realistic way of repairing them which made any sense financially. So one Christmas, I came across a deal on Amazon for this model and snapped it up.Wow, just wow. After some searching, I found a wonderful Roaster called Hasbeans who roast to order and have exceptional variety and quality. From there, I've tried various different beans of region and flavour, the machine handles them all with utter ease in the grinder and is so precise from one cup to the next. The flavour is just superb, and really puts you in another realm of pleasure. Even using lesser beans like Costa whole beans or a cheap bag off Amazon, they still taste as good as Nespresso.Then there's the added bonus that the official Sage website lists almost every component of the machine for sale individually and at very reasonable costs. So you can service the machine yourself incredibly easily should you need to.Then the aftersales support: Sage have a chat system on their website which is manned 24/7 by real baristas. You can go on there and ask any question you like to get more out of your machine. Then on top of this, Amazon contacted me a month ago and invited me to an official Sage Masterclass on Zoom held by a Barista in Holland. He took us through tricks and tips on how to best use the machine to get the flavours we were individually after. These are available for free every 2 weeks through Sage, you can sign up as many times as you like.I've had the machine almost a year now, and I'm loving it now just as much as I did when I first got it, plus I've learnt so much more about coffee and brewing. The next area of expertise I need to master is the Milk side of things, that is by far the hardest bit to get consistent.Don't even hesitate, get one, I guarantee it will improve your daily life exponentially and for a long time to come.
